Is it just me or is MapleStory 2 exactly like Ever Planet?
I have check some screenshots and videos of this new "MapleStory 2" and the characters ,maps and monsters look exactly the same as the ones in Ever Planet(a game released in 2008).
When i say exactly the same i mean that they are exactly the same in both games, nothing changes at all.
I have the feeling that they are the same game.

They're completely different games. It's not MapleStory revamped with 3D graphics on a separate game. The reason it's called MapleStory 2 is because it will share similar aspects, usually in the storyline i.e. it could be a continuation of the end of the MS storyline with new characters and stuff. Hacking and botting will exist on every game in which it is possible to do so. Duping is a term I've really only seen used in MS, because it's a glitch abuse. Whether or not it will exist in MS2 is yet to be remained. Also, no one, can say for sure whether Nexon America will hold any rights to MapleStory 2 Global version should it ever be released. It could go to [b]any[/b] other gaming company. Just remember that.

MS2 is still in development. As in, the game doesn't exist yet. Therefore, if you're finding anything other than the image of
ir.nexon.co.jp/cms/pdf/news1179206693609361.pdf <-- this link on page 19 i.e. videos or any other non-extremely small / blurry when enlarged images, then it's not MS2, it probably [b]is[/b] Ever Planet or w/e.
There's only one blurry photo. These other images and videos are a different game that's been released for a while now.
That's because most people are mistaken in thinking that the EverPlanet footage is Maple 2 Footage, which has yet to be released, aside from the single picture within the fiscal report from a week or two ago. EverPlanet's existed in Korea since 2009 and MS2 is still in development.
