@duzz why do you dislike Islam?
I dislike Islam, but love (most) Muslims.
@lilikoby lmao :')
I feel like my supposed racism is justified.
@lemoncandy: Inaccurate comparison for several reasons. First, the KKK is not widely accepted in the US. The actions of ISIS may not be directly tolerated by followers of Islam, but most Muslims share many ideologies - these are people with the same mentality that what Hitler did during world war II was acceptable as long as they were not directly involved in the killing. If you went outside dressed like the KKK you'd be annihilated by the public immediately here but it is not so in various Islamic countries. Also, the KKK doesn't send terrorist threats to cities and send media videos of them stoning black people in the name of Jesus Christ. It's a very different dynamic of terrorism, and thus it's understandable that Western Civilization groups Muslims together as the same group of people.

@lemoncandy: yeah sure. as long as you aren't being an overt bigot or dk about it, it's fine.
everyone, and i mean every single person, has prejudices and predisposed notions about different people and some are just reinforced more due to anecdotal experiences or second hand experiences.
i wouldn't walk down a street in Compton at 2am at night. it's just being rationally aware of your surroundings.
Race =/= Religion
To be fair, I hate all religions equally.
Wait a minute. Can I not edit my thread?
Anyways. The reason why I ask this is because there's foreign exchange students from my college in France and I've been hearing that a lot of them are in constant fear of other people, high populated areas, too afraid to go to school, extremely wary of just random people on the street,etc.
And we aren't in such a sense of fear right now, but I wonder how many of us are more prejudice and cautious because of this stuff happening.
@tiesandbowties: u can apply that to Americans then. since the KKK obviously represents a large group of individuals.
@Alwaysthere: then the a answer for you is simply "no" as others have stated.
I'm asking if anyone is being cautious and prejudice to the physical characteristics and backgrounds of those who have caused Isis attacks (racism).
I understand Isis is religion based, but that's not what I decided to ask.
And I think you can be "racist" to religion because religion is a part of your ethnic background. Is there a word for racist for ethnicity? Ethnicist?
not racist per se but a bit more cautious. it's not being racist; it's just being rationally non-oblivious
racist towards who? what did innocent people do
How can I be racist towards a religion?
idk how i feel
i feel like i dislike muslim religion a lot ever since these attacks but cant blame religion need 2 blame ppl
No, just more angry at the ignorance I see in comment sections.
No
p2s
Actually I've been sympathizing more with the innocent Muslim community since all of the attacks since been occurring. I tend to be a bit more racist towards whites now because I assume that they're all idiots who assume that all Muslims are evil. Of course I have many white friends and I know this isn't true but whatever. I guess we're all a little racist. (i'm Asian btw).
that's my secret.. i'm always racist
