So today I straight up asked her

So back to my previous post about my roomie doing weed. Today I straight up asked her if it was medicinal weed or nah. I told her, I'd be filing for a move-out regardless. And I really needed a straight answer so if it was illegal, I could give her the heads up that they probably going to inspect the apt. as I move out. (thought they might move her out...)

She told me it was medicinal weed and felt bad I was trying to move out cause of fragrance irritants and what not. If it was medicinal, it just means she has to do weed and she'll always smell like weed and I'll always have a headache and irritated nose/throat. I told her I'd still move out.

I filed for the move-out, but apparently they will still check her if it was medicinal or not (because I had to give a reason & since she said it was medicinal I knew she wouldn't be in trouble, so I was like why not tell the management).

As the management said there would be inspections and background checks, I kept thinking to myself... what if she was just lying. and I thought to myself, would she be that dumb to lie even though I told her I was filing for a move out anyways and there would be inevitable inspections regardless of why I was moving out.

...Because for the longest time, I didn't think it was medicinal. This was because she said her boyfriend was the person who supplied her... But I thought the way she smoked weed was weird (she smokes weed by creating a sauna of weed with a candle pot. She don't roll it up...). But then she has prescription bottles that say "medicinal cannabis".

I really hope she didn't lie... do you think she lying? Like is it easy to fake "medicinal cannabis" prescription bottles and what not.
And why does she smoke weed with a candle jar.

@ceseva:

You have other things to worry aboot. If she said it was medicinal and gets caught because it wasn't medicinal, its her fault, you atleast gave her the heads up.

@wall: she moved in. I already lived her. So yeah its new. And I know this is more elaborated in my first thread, but it's not weed. It's strong smells. She tries to get rid of the weed smell with air fresheners, but those same things still is an irritant to me.
@benchpresser: not sure if it was a weird case, but I have experienced people getting caught with drugs in school and they do not get expelled. They get an an AA kind of intervention crap for whatever drugs they do.
@qubii: ugh. Damn. I really hope she going to be ohkay. I straight up said I was going to make up bs if she says it's not medicinal. sigh. Man idk. Even after telling her I filed it, she chill af.
@shamieekill: ha-ha. My friend actually said only really good weed smells good af, bad weed smells like skunk.

"This was because she said her boyfriend was the person who supplied her [...] Like is it easy to fake "medicinal cannabis" prescription bottles"

If her boyfriend supplied it to her, it is most likely illegal for her to carry it and use it. Her boyfriend probably has a medical marijuana card and is buying it for her while giving her the container dispensaries distribute it in.[ILLEGAL]

"She told me it was medicinal weed and felt bad I was trying to move out cause of fragrance irritants and what not. "

You shouldn't feel bad, she is most likely not allowed to smoke inside the dorms or even on campus. Can't you look for a new dorm or roommate on campus?

"I really hope she didn't lie... do you think she lying?"

Yea, I think she's lying. From what my classmates and older brother told me, its not hard to get a medical marijuana card. They could get arrested and her boyfriend's weed ID taken away because he's not allowed to do that. That is if she tells the cops she gets it from her boyfriend.

I don't get why she can't try to hide the scent. I smoke a few times a week and I never smell of it, even when I walk in my house. I make sure I don't smell or look high

Well if she said it wasnt medicinal, you could turn her in right? Probably lied in case that happened to avoid getting into trouble.

So you just ratted out your roommate for drugs which can lead them to being expelled, real classy.

Well you shouldn't feel bad. You gave her the heads up and now it's in her hands.

I love the smell of weed, but I would not want to smell it 24/7.

Honestly, you should have asked her more about it to make sure. Should said like "Oh you so you have a medical marijuana card?" and like "You're limited to *insert limited amount here* right?"

Edit: Also, would you mind linking your old post?
