Phantoms being nerfed
So, with phantoms losing about 30% damage in all skills except mile, tempest (longer cooldown), and stolen skills, and a 10% bonus damage drop in Priere, I think it's safe to say that us phantom are going to suck. Please provide me with actual logic and reasoning as to why we might not suck and why i shouldn't scroll and cube the 136 w/att cane i just bought for 1.2b, thanks.

The nerf isn't even bad.
First of all, if you're not funded, you won't even notice it. But even if you are, the Hyper Skills make up for it and it's only a MINOR nerf. The only noticeable thing we've lost is 10% damage and 10% critical. We can get 10% Damage back with some better equips and the Hyper skills make up for the crit.
The skills don't really matter as we don't use any of them. (RF, ELE, or MA) are our main attacks.
No one really uses tempest except for the Arms of Zakum.
The CD of stolen skills were fair. It was probably because people like me abused C.O. However, the half buff time is really retarded if you ask me -__- Still, not enough to make me quit.
Why does it matter that our damage isn't godly? You chose the Phantom class knowing that it would one day be nerfed. This day has come and it's time to accept the facts. Suck it up and stop complaining about it.
Phantoms will still be fun. Vol is probably the best skill in the world<3
@Deadly1337: so obviously you haven't seen my second post, im not even trying to bandwagon, right now im trying to find a class that i willl like to stick with, a class thats in-between thats not super op but still not weak thats why im making a nl now to see if ill like it, since September ive made like so many characters trying to find something i like, so if its called bandwagoning when i cant find a class that i really like then ok you can call me a bandwagoner.
If you guys are changing classes that often, you probably don't like the class you're playing...
Lets not forget that phantoms have that steal skill (dont know the name) which can steal DR from any boss in the game. The combine it with magic crash, and you can solo almost any boss (as long as you know the patterns of DR per each boss). They get a small nerf sure, but they are still the best bossing class, and can even argue better then angelic buster for bossing.
@Ouhai: We're not talking about KMS right now. We're talking about the reason why Phantom is getting a nerf and if this kid should be continuing his Phantom.

That's ok. People will be ditching phantoms for resistance once the revamp hits anyways.
And losing 30% dmg isn't that bad.

and thats the crucial problem with bandwagoning, it's one thing to play a class for a link or event, but to play it strictly because it's OP or exceptionally strong knowing it'l get nerfed is just plain stupid. phantoms are still relatively OP even post-nerf just for the mere fact they can still use our skills to their fullest potentials[except 4th jobs iirc, but lvl 20 in a skill is still exceptionally good]

I'm not. I chose the phantom because i like the play style. i've also invested a crap load of time and mesos that i've made into it, so hopefully you can understand my anger. I have a 155 corsair that I boss on as well. But they're also nerfing rapid fire too, so....

This clearly isn't my main account, because i'm talking about phantoms, and the phantom on my players list hasn't been updated in 3 months, thanks to nexon.
@ch8rlie: really i dont play for damage that much even though i do try to put as much funding as possible to it, its just that i always get tempted to change characters ive probably made every char in the game except and mm and ive made like 8 chars in the past 2months.
also to people that say just play for fun i dont think most people realize that this game doesnt have alot of fun in it anymore unless you fund yourself alittle most you would do is hene hoe and do events if possible, hardly anyone would want you at lhc, you would have to train alone at a crappy map which would take forever to lvl, and you wouldnt be able to kill alot of bosses alone and since there wouldnt people alot of generous people to help out, what would you do?

An attacker who can use Hyper Body, Holy Symbol, and Advanced Blessing without spending millions on potentialed items on the first and third?
Stop fretting about the damage and you'll see the other treasures of Phantom.
Phantoms can still steal skills.
Therefore we don't suck.
