Nah actually at first they sold for 4 to 6 bilish than as demand skyrocketed people are willing to pay 8 to 16 bil depending on the equips (I sold thief tyrant shoes for 16bilish in pure so I can vouch)

No, the number of people in a server does not have anything to do with the meso in circulation, as botters are the ones that generate 99% of the meso.
The amount of botters/server is roughly the same cross-server, so with lower supply of Tyrant, there's a higher price for it in less populated ones.

I'm in Bellonova. When I see Tyrant being sold for the equivalent of 7-8b while in Scania you're lucky to fetch 4.5...

Yes, a Mega Marvel would be nice. However, I'm fairly sure Nexon rigged the Mega Marvel if you get a Tyrant to not give you any multiple of itself.
I've never heard of someone getting a Tyrant and then Mega'ing it for like 2 more or so, and I'm pretty sure most people know to Mega the Tyrant.

Honestly, I don't see why you didn't mega marvel the tyrant. Unless you got it on your last run, the chances of getting at LEAST 1 more (out of 6 extras) Tyrant equip is unimaginably better than attempting to get another tyrant equip through a new spin.
