@Kazzooey: The more I think about it though, the more that I see Xenon being reflected in Pallies. What I mean by that is, you guys have utilities. Already godly defence, coupled with an actual godmode plus a bind skill (basically lets you whack at Magnus like he's a training dummy) on top of warrior's Magic Crash, and Void to hit 100% of damage. As for support skills, you got Parashock and the ability to revive.
I really don't care if you guys hit hard because that can be caught up with through funding. However, what bugs me is that there is no possible way to obtain utilities other than switching classes.
Just a thought, its all good though. Heroes have been top dog for a while

Yea that's pretty much spot on (other than the 3 min enrage because Enrage now is toggle on/off skill). Recharging can be a huge pain in the ass as you HAVE to hit something 6 times total (5 charges + 1 precharge) to completely charge. And quite often in areas like Vellum, Pink Bean, and Magnus you can wind up wasting soooooooooooo much time trying to recharge since you can't always hit them due to DR, bosses going underground, and avoiding various attacks. So that 45 Seconds of Blast Spam isn't really 45 seconds, sometimes it's only 10 seconds before you need to recharge.
Paladins are inconvenient to say the least. DrK [i]can[/i] be a little inconvenient too but not nearly as bad as Paladins. Hero are very easy and stable to work with as they don't have hardly any cooldowns or screwy systems to deal with. But the tradeoff for Paladins is that they are built towards end-game.

Heros and DrK's are better on bosses without resistances. Examples include Mu lung dojo, pink bean, commerci sailing.
Bosses with resistances are favored towards paladins. Examples include Root Abyss, Magnus, Empress.
We're not better. We're just more suited towards the toughest end-game fights.

I see, thanks for the explanation. I'm not too knowledgeable on how Pallies work now
Yea sure a 350k range would do it if you don't have a single ounce of %Boss...
You can kill him with a 200k Range, 60% Boss, and a Green Potion.
id assume you would need about 200k range and 75% boss to kill him. Since I have 400k and 75% boss and kill him when the timer is about halfway.
@Xephari my Paladin of similar level to my Hero hits 5 times harder.
i can only get a good chunk of hp before time runs out :l
As a hero, I take it down with like 1/10th of the bar remaining. I have 108k range buffed w/o hypers, and 77% Boss damage/115% pdr. I pop like 2.8m to 3m per line with my enraged raging blow. :>
My stats are: Range of 197466 ~ 216965, 80% Crit (allowing Blast to crit 100% of the time), 85% PDR, 90% Boss, and Decent Sharp Eyes. Depending on if he cooperates, he usually goes down with 1/4ths of the time remaining. This is without Echo or Epic Adventure or Terms btw (but they help); Livy takes around 1.65mil-2.00mil a line.
I'm usually able to just solo with about 200k 97% pdr 45% boss and 98% crit
haven't gotten that far in the quest line, but if you beat mu lung, do you probably have enough dps to beat it?

My dk has 104k range with about 100% boss/pdr/crit and i did like -- damage to him before i gave up
at least 200k for sure, he has 500m hp approx, not whoever claimed 1.1b lolol
On my paladin i did it with 250k range with 8x % boss
I have 181k range buffed w/ 30% boss and 113% DI and I can only get him down to 30-40% HP.

How much damage per second do you hit?
Buffed I have 310k range, 115% boss, 64% pdr, and void and it takes me about half the time to kill him. Hope this helps.
EDIT: My guess is ~200k range and maybe 60% boss would suffice because we have void.
Get mihile link skill, 150k range buffed, 60% boss and 50% pdr and you are fine

It's easier for some jobs, especially if you have short time damage boosters like infinity, or Holy Magic Shell to block his super knockback. (And Bishop range is lower "buffed" than unbuffed, lol, so 200k buffed is like 250k unbuffed?)

About 300k to 400k range, with around 100% Boss damage and 100% PDR.
