Both Sengoku classes are expecting changes within this year (which is why they're unavailable for creation), and so they'll be available to make after those changes happen. Just keep in mind that the Hayato you test after they return to character creation probably won't be the same as the current one.

@repentant: This is excellent! The only reason I chose to do Normal over hard is because I can't squish the eyes and gem fast enough before dying! If this crouch works for all classes it'll be great.

Any idea when Hayato will be back for creation? Looks like an interesting class.

Tried my hand at Normal Gollux just now and for the first time I managed to take him down without dying. Yay! I feel like I've learned something, so thank you again for uploading this (even though Normal is nowhere near the same as Hellux, but even still I'm happy I took something away from watching your run )

After my aforementioned Gollux run I can personally testify that crouching does indeed work.

@repentant: During both attacks? You can just crouch to avoid them both? Jesus.

First of all, amazing job soloing Hellux. But damn Hayato needs a buff, maybe weapon mastery or even a summon.

@repentant: I used to activate Vapor Blade a ton going through that portal, so it's mostly just practice. "Don't mash your up key" is probably the best advice I can give. If you don't go through the first time, try to leave a bit of a pause between taps to prevent activating by accident. Holding a directional button that isn't up or down helps in not activating it, too. Of course, when all else fails, you can just Surging Blade to the edge of the platform and slide off instead of using the portal, then Vapor Blade back up, using Sanrenzan to both decrease delay and do some damage.

Awesome video! I love how, after every Dankuusen, you use the hitbox of Sanrenzan to damage Gollux without facing him. Very resourceful way of thinking; it's really cool to see you taking advantage of every little detail to dish out as much damage as possible. Subtleties like that are what make Hayato videos so enjoyable to watch, imo.

How were you able to use the portals without activating Vapor Blade? That's what gets me killed in my Normux runs </3

He crouches during the attack. I had no idea that was possible until now, so that's pretty neat.
