We will be performing an unscheduled maintenance on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10:10 AM Pacific (1:10 PM Eastern). The game will be available on Tuesday, February 31, 2023, at 5:50 PM Pacific (8:50 PM Eastern). [s]Buy more NX plz.[/s]
Rollback would be great. I had put some nx on a character I no longer want to play. Can I get a muhfgn uhhhhhhhhhhhh refund? No but really I want to play sometime today. Ily nixon.
@ecyz: Someone told me only GMS and IMS (Indonesian MapleStory) still use this iteration of the Cash Shop. All/most other versions use a new version, of course including KMS. It stands to reason the newer Cash Shop uses unsigned integers and such properly. To be fair, they never had to represent such high values in the Cash Shop prior, and only Black Cubes and the highest tier Hyper Rock were costly enough for the issue to occur.
Basically, expect Cash Shop to be replaced in the next major patch. I think after this, GMS staff might prioritize copying the code over for that to forego such issues.

@megascience: I was under the impression that they largely switched over to unsigned integers with the update that raised the meso cap, evidently not though

Good thing I already finished my daily bosses I have no plans to play until tomorrow afternoon, so Nexon can take their time for all I care.
@ecyz: They can't properly adjust the price at the moment. The problem is their code uses the wrong data type - signed integer. They'd have to change the code on their end, and worse yet the client might also use a signed integer and therefore need an update. The best they can do at the moment if they want to be quick is either block purchasing the item or limit the amount a person can buy at once, which hopefully they weren't imperceptive enough to hard code somewhere.
@kevqn: It's weird how they set them up, yes. x-x Maybe they pushed everything a day due to the maintenance?

@megascience: Wow, I thought today was the 5th.. Why would they have hot time on Saturday, and then hot day on Sunday/Monday.. If anything it should be Fri-Sun

@megascience: I imagine they'll ban everyone who used the exploit, properly adjust the price of the cubes, and sort through accounts over the week to figure out who abused and who did not.

There's a hot time today, good chance it'll be done by then.
I haven't had much time to play lately and then when I finally do get the time to play there's a maintenance I'm hoping it only takes an hour or two but knowing nexon.....

This time it's happening mid-day, so they should be much faster. If I could toss a guess, this will start with a quickfix to block it, followed by a real fix next minor patch.
