Returning to game How are explorers?
Hey guys, old guy returning back to this awesome game!
I just wanna play again for old time sake for my favorite class type, Adventurer! However, I'm just intimidated by all these new classes and I'm worried if explorers are obsolete. I'm probably still going to play them but I just wanted to ask you guys how they compare to everything else. The last thing I remember being new when i stopped was ascension patch I think? Anyways just wanted to say hi again to BasilMarket.
BTW is Mr. Basil still alive and kicking?

Start in more populated worlds. Dead worlds are very hard to live in and somewhat hard to level in when you reach the level where pq gives more exp.
Explorers hold up well.
Depends on how far you want to fund a character, but things are more streamlined and simple now.
It's incredibly easy to get funded to a certain degree, and cubes drop frequently from bosses. You can also buy 10 cubes every month with reward points.
Just follow Tot's Tutorial quests and pay attention and you should be fine.
some explorers still have a lot of potential like bowmasters with their lines and shadowers with their high damage cap + the RED update buffed them up really well ! I recommend watching videos of each of them first before you pick one.

Overall they're not great compared to alot of new classes. I still find them enjoyable though
10-30 grind blue mushmom (kill it then cc), when it stops spawning go to flaming golems.
30-46 grind on purple clam slimes at gold beach
46-50 do tot's know how (look up a guide on youtube, it's easy)
50-52 easy zakum twice
52-70 drakes in sleepywood, first map.
3rd job is at 60 now, it's really easy. 4th job is at 100
They do a lot of 2x EXP/Drop events now. There's even one going on this weekend.

It's incredibly easy. You can get fourth job in a few hours now.
ooh I see, thats great. Do you know how long would it take to get to 3rd job without spending money?
Mr basil is still slive but he does not post on the forums much, but he is doing stuff
Zero is the new master class.
Explorers are much better/more fun now since they all got revamped in the Red update.
