For one, I'm happy there will be no rollback. Every time I do something, I lose it and have to start all over. As to why it's taking so long, I have no idea. If they really want to stop all the hackers and glitches, all they have to do is pay some people to play MapleStory as GMs; making sure people don't hack or do anything like that. Everyone knows where the hacker are and it's not that hard. Most people know their IGNs. If i had that job, I would ban 10 hackers everyday with all ease or even 100 a day. It's all about how fast u do it.

Nexon is doing EVERYTHING in their power not to give NX, the virtual currency that is virtually useless outside of this game. I forgot one major factor for the support of Nexon RBing, greed

The chaos scrolls allowed people who dont merch/hack/ train 24/7 to actually get some good stuff or scroll the stuff tehy have cheaply. 8m for 1 60% claw att? THAT is not a functional economy by any means, so why not buy the scrolls and at least get a taste of what tha bazillionaires have...

I think if they are to put a rollback into place, we deserve some compensation (Not the good 'ol 2x EXP and DROP event that we all know ends up with half the people not being able to attend and the people who DO attend, half of those not being able to find a map).
The way I see it, stuff like this really shouldn't be happening. Sure you could say the hackers shouldn't be doing it and I couldn't agree more, but the world ain't perfect and you will always find those 'scrums of the earth' ruining the experience for all of us. The fact that it has happened many times in the past, you'd think Nexon would've learnt from their mistakes and made sure it doesn't happen again (I'm not a computer expert so I don't know how to prevent packet editing, but if there is a will there is a way).
I think the compensation should come in the form of Maple points (5,000 - 10,000), either a 2x EXP and DROP event or just give us a 30 min card each per account and just work on fighting this.

@alch3myst25: Don't assume they're actually roll-backing, but yes compensation for a rollback would be obvious. I was talking about compensation for the unscheduled server maintenance (usually they give compensation for this). And if you looked at basil market you would see tons of filled threads about how people used their chaos to the fullest, not to mention that's only basil market. I agree that it's messed up they did not address this problem immediately, but for some reason Nexon does not work on Saturday or Sunday and compensation may be needed if anything like a roll-back was done.
