Louis gave the firm to Hardman, he didn't take it back. He ended up getting mad at Hardman in the end because Hardman used his relationship with some girl to sue the firm for harassment and wrongful termination.

Mike was the one that forced Hardman out by making Hardman believe that some other guy signed an affidavit.

You said Louis got the firm back from Hardman, now you just contradicted yourself, he gave the firm to Hardman.

What? He could have ended up in prison irregardless of who he did it for. The judge isn't just going to say "awww~" and let him off the hook because he did it for friends. That's just how the real life works. Its sad, and he was by far my fav, but he got off easy.

And Jessica quite frankly is the only smart one there. There is no way Mike, Donna, Litt would have there jobs in the real world of legal firms. She tried to get rid of them all, like a boss with common sense. Fortunately, tv makes for better stories.
