Was there a rollback recently?
Or will there be? I haven't played in a week or two or more but spent a decent amount today cubing and circulating for 50% buff duration..my friend is telling me I messed up because there was a meso exploit? This would probably mean a long break for me if I lose all that and get compensated with 5k maplepoints or something

There's apparently a exploit involving those Crossheilder Shields worth 1.1m to NPCs, Kanna's Kishin and Sakura Garden maps 2,3.
I'm not 100% on rollback but Nexon may opt for another route due to those Special Beauty Coupons. If we take into account the dupings that occurred during the Special Beauty Coupon Drop Events Min Kim and his crew decided not to rollback because people worked hard to get their crappy randomized hairs/face/skin and it would cost alot to compensate to their loss. Since we also had a hot day with these coupons we might not get a rollback too but there's a chance we will and they'll compensate those coupons again.
But we did have another Meso exploit with Shiny Bullets from a NPC store but we didn't have a rolback for it except for unexpected SC and a patch and probably the deletion of "illicitly" generated mesos
Just take the necessary precautions like screenies and recordings of the cubes/circulators you purchased in your purchase history

Make sure you take screenies of your progress if there is one (oh make sure you have a time stamp too)
then you might have a better chance at getting compensated
