Help me with a paper. I can't think of this word and it's been bugging me all day.
Let me give you an example of the word.
"Pageant mom's use their little girls as _______ to live their own selfish and superficial dreams"
"When a writer lives through characters in a book, he uses them as ______"
It's not: Vicarious, vessel, body, puppet, tool, instrument, substitute, scapegoat, etc.
Also post some words that you need help with or thinking of for whatever.
