All based on max arcane aim:

When u attack, this skill will activate at 50% rate. When it activates, ur damage will increase by 8%. This effect can stack 5 times giving u up to 40% damage increase. However, to retain the effect, u must continue attacking enemies and recluse this skill to activate. Past 5 times, all it will do is reset the buff duration. If u fail to reactivate the skill, after a few seconds, the effect dissapears putting u back at square one.

This isn't League of Legends so you probably don't need to worry about it too much.

Arcane aim gives explorer mages 40% total damage when continuously attacking monsters. It activates with 50% chance (at max level) when you hit a monster. If successful, you will receive 8% total damage. This will stack, as long as you are attacking continuously, up to 5 times, thus giving you 40% total damage. You can check that the buff is active at the top right of your screen. The buff lasts a few seconds, that's why you got to keep attacking monsters. This buff, combined with storm magic or burning magic, will give a total of 60% total damage.
