Quick suggestion for this site
Make the "item" thing that each comment has a different color/font/size/location than the "likes" for each comment.
Its something that's a tad confusing that can be easily fixed.

it prevents spammers. Its one of the best parts about this site. Real users can wait a few weeks and it wont kill them. Any legitimately new user will take those restricted first few weeks understanding the site. There really should be no complaint from them.
Users who've just created a new account on the other hand who already have used this site on the other hand and had to have created one cuz they got banned on their first... well. Lets just remind them that making 2nd (or more) new accounts was against the TOS from the very begining.
