So my character got up and moved on its own when I was out.
I have no way of proving this, but I left my character in fm 8 one day and went out with friends. I left my laptop on with maple open, and there was absolutely no one at home at that time of the day. Strange thing is, when I came back, my character was at fm entrance, and to make it even more strange, my friend whom I was sitting with at fm 8 said he just saw me get up and walk on my own out of 8... MS was open the whole time so there's no way anyone could have logged in, and I am 100% positive no one would've been home from the time I was gone. Yes, I am sure that my character was in fm 8 when I left. I don't THINK anything was missing from my inventory. Has this happened to anyone else?

First thought that went through my mind is that you have a rodent problem
Like that guy up there said, if you stay afk (with no shop open) inside the FM you get kicked out eventually. But walking out is a whole different story, either someone messed with your PC while you were gone or you're about to get hacked.
Your character simply got bored of waiting for you to return at the market and decided to step outside for a breather!

If you have the shop open, you won't get kicked

No need to be worried yet, as we are not taking items/meso at this time.
That happens to me whenever everything in my permit sells out, quit being a worried poosie.

You'll get sent to FM entrance after certain amount of time doing nothing in FM room.
