I am coming back
Hey everyone!
I haven't played Maplestory for maybe about 2 years and I have finally decided to play again because my brother convinced me to make an Angelic Buster because they are soooo cute. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some important features that have been implemented in the game since 2 years ago...? (Maybe after the Bigbang patch) Any information would be helpful, thanks in advance!

If anything, my opinion should be weighted heavier because I've been everywhere in the game. I've seen everything Maple has to offer, and made my way to the top of my class in my server even. And I know for a fact, due to first-hand experience, that this game is not worth playing because it indirectly forces you to spend money on it, at one point or another.
The game doesn't get better the higher level you are, or the higher range you get. It gets duller, and you start realizing it at that point.

This game lost its magic when potentials came out, and dug its grave when they buffed the endgame content to be accessible for big NX spenders only. How do I know? Because I've been there, trust me.
You can't even socialize in the game like back in the day, there's some form of instant teleportation between every town in the game so no more socializing between boat rides, and no one ever does PQs in over half the servers. Unless you like hanging out in Henesys with the good ol' henehoes.
Also, RED isn't even that cool. It's a new continent with crappy monsters, a big 1vs100 boss that lags everyone a ton, a revamp of all explorers (so you can replay the same Maple content we've had for years all over again, huzzah[although it doesn't apply to you, since you quit at Big Bang]!), and a bunch of other minor stuff. They announced 5th job, but they haven't mentioned ANYTHING AT ALL since then. Honestly, turn around and play something else.[/quote]

Well as I said earlier, I only made an Angelic Buster because it looked really cute.
You need to spend more and more to make it fun

Not much to say. Do Tot's quests. Dimension Door brings you to all PQs. Do LPQ to Lvl 70, R&J to Lvl 100, Evo Lab until 140, Dimension PQ to 160(ish?), then I think there's some other stuff like Root Abyss, HT, Hall of Honor. Idk, there's guides to help you out, but there's nothing of great significance to mention. Hope this helped and good luck.
