Paladian is good after nerf ?

are paladian still any good after the nerf cause they look like so much fun *~* ?

Competing for damage does not make the master race people made them out to be. At least in Windia, getting top 10 dojo gloves as a paladin was difficult; I imagine more so in Scania. Being tanky is nice and all, but on endgame bosses, you need character control anyway, Paladin or not. (Magnus just got really easy where rush respects stance, so this is an exception I suppose.) Their defensive capabilities really do not mean much.

For an unfunded character who attempted the inferior bosses, Paladin was a great choice with no doubt. Once you are at the level where you solo Chaos Root Abyss bosses including Chaos Vellum, 30 seconds of godmode only goes so far. It is a good emergency skill, yes, especially for something like Chaos Vellum's fire laser full map attack craziness. Something like that is easy to avoid anyway.

I am very dismissive of playing a character for defense and the very idea of defensive capability making a character OP. It's all about that hps and dps.

They were the tankiest class and was able to compete for dmg. How was that not OP?

Paladins got hurt really badly. Even before the nerf, they were not all that powerful as people had made them out to be. Their damage was a bit higher than the others at elementally strong bosses but they were not that amazing. The nerf made a slightly above average class turn into a really bad one in terms of damage. If you love a class, there is nothing that can hold you back unless you get nerfed like a Paladin.

Depends upon whether you really want to boss or not. Because they aren't bossers at all anymore (the very fact that they made charges into attacks rather than buffs irks me still >.< )

If you're looking for a solid character that can survive nearly everything thrown at them, though, then make a Pally. Its not for everyone - heck, may not be for most anymore - but Paladins are still solid mob killers, and can handle field bosses pretty well. Making them attack hard would take some serious funding, though.

The nerf hit us pretty hard but unless you're funding to the point where you can solo hellux/mag/cra I honestly don't see a big difference. Personally I love the playstyle so I stuck through with it, and I know a couple of paladins who stayed with the class too.

+ Party utility (bind, threaten, revive, co)
+ Godmode makes me feel boss when I tank cvel's full map attack
+ Reg mobs can't kill you. I can afk when I log in at SDH instead of having to spam my magic guard key when I'm on my bishop
+ Pretty much nothing OHKOs you when you have one charge up except stuff like DR, mag rocks and cvel's full map atk.
+ Personally I love muling on a paladin since sacro makes everything so much easier, plus you're a useful mule with threaten + bind + magic crash

- Needs relatively more funding to solo bosses
- Needs decent control (knockbacks and micromanaging charges can be annoying)
- Sloooow
- Can never get number 1 dojo. We're REALLY bad at dojo even top 10 can be challenging.
- I find it a pain to solo gollux without mob control

Our damage is meh now, but we're still really tanky. 1 dmg erry day, you'll never die upon spawning because of lag -stares at my mage-

They are still a really good tank/support class if you are into that but other then that there damage isnt great. If you think they look fun, just try them out.
