How is life in Maplestory unfunded?
I'm coming back to maplestory after a few years, but I have like 100m max. I'm completely fine with having less damage than those around me, but is the game still enjoyable?
EDIT: Fun as in, can I still enjoy the same content as those who are funded? Can I train and level up decently?

Just wait for DFO. Dungeon Fighter Online; also like the Facebook page for posts and updates. Imo, getting to a place of "funded" takes far less time and it's easier to pull of in DFO. It's way more fun and if you're into PvP, there's that. Also, end-game equips are time-investiments that can't be bought by gold so theres that too. Community is great, forums for DFO include dfocore and dfonexus.

@Sammi: I remember it was sooooo hard to find a fun and talkative guild in Broa two years ago.
Find a good guild, set-up some little goals to reach your big goal in the game, and focus on what you like without comparing yourself to others.
I still think the game is plenty fun, just a lot of useless quests that clutter up.

Oh yeah man. Seems a large amount of old players are coming back all of the sudden. I came back on New Years after being off for like 3-4 years. I was a level 60 with 34mil and I was able to turn that into 600mil (all combined at least 2 bill). The community is awesome especially to returning players. People would just give me stuff for free to get started. But being unfounded is still really fun. Trust me you're not the only one who's unfunded. I play maybe 3 times a week And have a blast.
