Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. That one follows the original story and WAY outclasses the first make of Fullmetal Alchemist. I HIGHLY recommend brotherhood.

@Weregarurumon: The first season is pretty bad. Mostly comedy, just it isn't even that funny. They dragged it out way too long, just most of that's setting up relationships for the sequel.

Naruto Shippuden is actually good if they could hurry on the battlefield part instead of fillers...:3

Just finished Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, and I loved it. o_O Aside from Sailor Moon, I've never seen any other mahou shoujo anime, and this one has a twist since it's so...dark. Anyway, I recommend it.
Hayate no Gotoku S1/S2 are personal favorites, so I'll recommend those just cause. Can't Take My Eyes Off You is okay, but the change in art threw me off big time.
Dog Days is just a lighthearted anime if you'd like to relax; I really prefer season 2 over season 1.
ToraDora! and Kimi ni Todoke are two of my favorite romance/comedy animes.
Tsuritama was a bit odd but I enjoyed it
Scryed is a bit of an old anime, though not that old, but it's an old action favorite.

I am not sure about that, apart from it being near impossible to get a non-dubbed version the story is just ehh.
I have about 8 episodes left of season 1 and its not really thrilling me, the concept is nice, but i just despise the main character he is ultimately useless.

I loved Clannad & Clannad: After Story, but that starfish episode made me want to puke honestly. I teared a little after watching Clannad, and I had one of those "what do I do with my life now?" moments after I finished the series. So yeah, I thought it was a good series.

Best mainstream [b]anime[/b] >HxH 2011 or One Piece (but it's been pretty meh lately)

@xxkubrickxx: You have a point there... Just it doesn't mean that you should say that it isn't the best.
And in terms of Clannad's sadness, basically all the non-awful action anime I've watched have been more emotional. I don't know how people say it's the saddest. (Other than them just hearing it's the saddest, and believing it.)

@Croodle: Honestly, it's probably going to take a few months, unless there's a second(Third, techinically. They combined the first two seasons into one) season, in which case it might die down faster/slower, depending on how badly they ruin it.
