Spoilt 2 suppossedly good anime at once

Was watching a new anime, but I didn't understand something so I looked up a little but about the anime, then I found a _____'s death video. Rip, hate spoilers. I acidentally spoiled myself a major plot twist and like 2/3 characters introduced from episode one. Later I saw a comment saying something along the lines of a 'cowboy bepop' style death. I just spoilt two anime I wanted to watch. This is like the time I wants to watch code geass and before starting the series I found a 'Lelouch dies' clip. Should I continue watching an anime knowing plot twists and knowing like a deuteragonist dies at the end?

This is honestly why I can't watch tv shows or anything that's serialized anymore.
I spoil the plot by looking up the wiki

If it really mattered that much, Shakespeare misnamed every single tragedy he wrote.

@Irony: I suppose it's true that there's a series I haven't caught up on bc my favorite character dies at some point...
As for the game, finishing it almost became a chore to me, due both to parts where it felt lacking and all the hype it was given (solely on new game mechanics imo). So I dunno whether I liked it more or less knowing the vague details of a twist.

Of course, and I'm still planning on watching animes I know spoilers of but my motivation is pretty low at the moment. As for this other anime I literally just watched the first episode and I roughly know how things go and end and it really kills motivation to continue.
I think it's important to distinguish between kinds of spoilers tho. Like an unexpected plot twist is a spoiler that can affect your enjoyment. Just a factual thing like "x dies" usually isn't as bad, and imo there are even plot twist spoilers that are sooo far removed from any context you can't really ruin anything by knowing them.

Giving a vague example, I was playing a game where the twist is that your player character is actually the villain you and the secondary characters struggle against for the entire time. I read a spoiler of it maybe four hours into the game, yet the idea that it could be real or how they'd reveal it was so far removed from everything I knew in the game...that I can't say it ruined it. The reveleation was no longer a surprise, but seeing the events lead to it, hint at it, and ultimately work to explain it were all marks of how good the story was, and were enjoyable.
Yeah I agree with you in the sense that there are certain spoilers which won't affect much at all, but sometimes having a character you know die can just ruin the experience

Of course AgK was an example for me, when a certain character was pretty much at their tombstone I couldn't help but think "This is actually it" instead of "What's going to happen next" and stay at the edge of my seat and all

Haha I think I know what game you're talking about
It would just be awful for me in that case though, it kinda ruins the "wow" factor when you find out though, doesnt it?

There are actually theories of him still being alive.
Only laughable ones though.

If the story is executed well, knowing what happens shouldn't ruin the experience. Alternatively, can't spoil something that's already bad.
If you for some reason develop tunnel vision based on spoilers...well I guess you shouldn't bother. But generally speaking, an open mind will work wonders for the experience, so you shouldn't just focus on what you already know.

i dunno how a character death spoiler could really take away the overall enjoyment of the show. i mean it's still got performances and plot etc and that's why you're watching! i'm also assuming you haven't seen how or when said characters die, so you're still going to be kept guessing.
it's probably easiest to tell if you say what anime it was, bc i feel like some series are more spoilable than others.
