Is it just me or?.
Am I the only one who keeps getting too many warnings? In my 4 years of using basil, I have never gotten too many "warning of breaking the rules". Note that in just this month I have received 5 warnings and I got banned 3 times! I am not even on basil a lot... I bet I'll get BANNED for saying, "MODS, are you abusing the power of banning and claiming basil users to be doing something/ saying something wrong?"
To my point: Is it just me?
in all honesty, you can't completely blame the mods. they're human and they can make mistakes, just like us, and they're trying they're best to keep basil straight! the mods try to help the community and sure, sometimes someone will get banned or warned but it's for the best of the community. Sometimes the mods could have just came home from a bad day and just need to let it out, though sometimes it may be on other people.
No, we don't take out our frustrations on Basilers. Like I said in the comment above that'd be insanely stupid because easily verified - besides, the last thing I want to do is punish someone else for my "misery".
I just finished a one month hiatus because of stuff that happened in real life and that made me feel not up for the job.
I've had this account since Big bang and I don't think it's gotten banned/suspended even once yet. and I'm a pretty frequent basiler.
You must be doing something wrong.

It'd be incredibly stupid to purposely falsely suspend anyone, since the false suspension can very easily be verified as false and we'd get whipped by MrB and well, from what I heard he's kinda unpleasant when he's angry.
There are some things that people don't seem to know are against the rules, like for example the topic Bobo listed. If you've been warned or suspended for similar comments you should be able to decode what the offense was.
@anthony74: I don't personally agree with that suspension, but there was the option of "ignoring and moving on". Technically your comment added nothing to the conversation, except that you're not willing to take part in it.
Likes don't matter, the comment that rakes in the most like here is either "Boobs" or "*random generic insult*".
You have 1 warning this month for making a fake bid on an auction. And you only have 1 suspension for July for discussing buying / selling mesos (which is against MS ToS / illegal)
I got banned twice for saying some naughty words or words related things but apart from that yeah....
I'm a good obediant boy
Mods are hard to explain
/suspended
You're not the only one. I got banned this week because I finally decided to comment on a "MapleStory is dying thread". All I said was "Getting really sick of seeing these threads" and my comment ended up getting 10+ likes (obviously hinting that most of the other people who saw the thread were getting tired of seeing threads like that EVERY DAY also). I feel like Basil is becoming a place where you can no longer express your thoughts without being banned. It's honestly sad, because I try to make my posts as relevant as possible when others just simply troll because they can and never get banned for it.
I don't think I cursed, attacked or advertised anything..
Maybe you are breaking the rules about something
