Whats the point of a suspension? [answered]
It's not like I will stop my irritating comments or something. It's not like it will make me realize that I should act with a nice behavior on such a joke website. Especially when the moderation isn't applied constantly. And no, I don't care about a petty 24-48hours suspension. It's not like I could attend to other business meanwhile.
Also, a suspension will only prevent me from being helpful in the time of my suspension. If I happen to only be the nice guy who can answer the question correctly on such website(because we all know how basilmarket community is) then, the person I had the intent to help can just go **** himself.
So. What's the point of a suspension?

I guess learning from mistakes is a cognitive function not developed in everyone.
That's also another stupid thing on the website, The ticket system. "send a ticket if you want to complain "
It's pretty much like saying, send us a ticket, we will put it in the garbage can as soon as you leave.
A toned down version of Nexon.
I know how you feel.
I do one harmless thing "wrong" and bam, suspension. Mr B won't even reply to my tickets about making the rules more lenient so the mods will continue to fully enforce these stupid rules.
@memory829: I still fail to understand why I am not permanently banned. Can't those mods see that I've been making irritating comments on and off for the past 3 years or so?
I think it's simply a joke. And don't bring the whole criminal argument into it because it is not the same caliber as words on internet.
A suspension is punishment for doing something you aren't supposed to. It's supposed to tell you that what you did was not allowed and serve as a warning not to do it again.
If you're going to be a doucebag about it and not realize any of this, then it's obvious that you'll be suspended over and over until your account is outright banned, helpful you occasionally are or not.
Suspensions can be longer than that and it's a welcomed break for others that don't like to endure you I suppose.
But yeah nobody is dependent of your help, even if you're banned and gone completely nobody will miss you cause you're just a stranger on a forum, you have no positive impact on anyone's life that is big enough to matter to them.
Also, there's something called PMs. You could still PM someone even when you're suspended so you could "help" that person privately.
****?
You dont have to censor help
And yes, he can just help himself.
