Am I too sympathetic
Whenever someone asks me for mesos, I feel the need to give them even a little otherwise I feel bad. Jut the other day, a random guy traded me in the fm and basically this occurred:
Random guy: wow 200
Me: how can I help you?
Guy: 300 k
Guy: please
Guy: please
Guy: please
So I gave him 300k and was about to leave when he traded me again.
Guy: 400k
Guy: please
Guy: please
Guy: please
Me: okay but may I ask why you need this?
Guy: tank
Me: what? I'm sorry can you explain
Guy: tank
Guy: please
Guy: please
So I have him 400k then ran away in case he tried to trade me a third time.
I still felt kinda bad since I ran away.
Am I too sympathetic?

You shouldn't even give them any in the first place. </3 Like it's really not that hard for them to earn it themselves. I always start new characters off with nothing and by the time I get to 4th job I have a couple mil at least. So all they really need to do is train/level and naturally they will earn the same amount of mesos as they would begging without actually pissing people off.
I don't give mesos to beggars.
I will give mesos to someone who asks politely with real english.

Made me lol
When someone begs me for mesos, I usually stall as long as possible, either by trolling or by pretending to show genuine interest in their day. After a while they usually close the trade on me, but at the end of the day I gave them what they wanted, since time = money.
LOL that was a good one
mehh I practically give any nooblooking person asking for mesos about 5-10m depending on my mood.
Only when I can afford it tho
Funny thing, I used to troll them by putting 1m and then cancelling. Then I retraded back and gave 1 meso. Retraded again and gave 50k. Recieved thanks aftwerwards. LOL
i gave out 5mil daily...
now im poor again q.q
I use to give people mesos even when I was poor.
Now, they're the reason I block trade.

OT: Yes, you're too soft. The next time someone asks you for mesos, remember these words: Suck it up, buttercup. It might sound silly at first, but whenever I have to draw the line anywhere, that's the first thing I think of.
Don't give people your mesos o-o Tell them to go grind for a few hours. That way not only are they getting mesos, but they're also getting equips if they're smart and pick them up. I've started a lot of new chars and by lvl 30 at Golems, I have like 300k from selling equips, use, and etc items I don't need. Like I said, don't give people mesos. They probably don't even need them. They're just being lazier than the game already allows them to be.
meh i just give them 1mil-10mil depending on how i'm feeling that day/ how they ask because i just think back to when i couldn't afford pots and remember how much that sucked so i just help them out a bit
I see the reasoning here but...
Did anyone help you as much when you were broke? If you got yourself out of poverty alone, then there's no reason why they need help either.
I mean, I feel like an ass for saying why you shouldn't help people, but if you're saying you were poor back before Big Bang, the game has gotten much, much more easier. Pots don't cost what they used to, and they drop so often that most classes don't have to burn any pots until 70.
Good thing you ran away. If you stayed he would have begged off all your money.
That was how I became broke.
You are way too sympathetic.
Same here, always happens with me
dont give them mesos if they ask in horrible grammar
Lol I always give new players mesos when they ask for it. But i would draw the line when they ask more than 3 times.
I give everyone who asks for mesos atleast 100k O.o
you're too nice. i don't even give money out to "beggars" anymore. they always ask for money and when you give it to them, they never say "thanks" or anything, they just ask for more. i start new characters for fun with no money and i just loot stuff, i make like 10m by the time i'm level 100 selling stuff i find + looting everything. i don't get how hard it is to make mesos, it's really easy now
Yes. If he can't come up with a valid reason, then he doesn't deserve it.
Yes do not give away your hard earned mesos
