I thought it was dying, but lately, its been getting really hard to get a spot in FM. There are stores in Ch 2, not sure if its players who got a free 3-day granny buying a store or b/c of summer o.o
It depends how long a "while" is for you. If you're talking a couple months then I'm not sure, but most people seem to be saying it is increasing slightly. But if you're talking years? It's definitely dead compared to back then.

Nexin disproved this theory back when they combined all of the dead worlds into super worlds (Bellenova, YMCK) though </3. Actually, with the super worlds included, Nexin has LESS servers than it did around the time of its peak 2009-10 ish (Yellonde and Dementhos were out as well).

When people say that it's unpopular compared to it's peak, or that the population is decreasing; they're forgetting that there's many, many, more servers than what there were at it's "peak". For a long time, there were only a couple of worlds. Now, I know that only a handful are truly popular, but there's a large number of players spread across every world.

I'm legitimately curious as to why you consistently speak badly of and try to deter people from, a game that you apparently have no interest in, on a forum specifically dedicated to that game.

Feels like it's increasing. Also, lots of college students finishing up classes this month
The population nowadays isn't as large as it used to be, however I've noticed more and more people making "coming back" threads on BasilMarket - there's at least one every two days. It's nice to see people are taking a renewed interest in Maple, so maybe things aren't as bad as they seem. There could be hope for the future.
