Where are you planning to attend this fall
So since I assume most of us have heard back from all of our colleges, I would just like to know where are the wonderful people of Basil are going to attend next year. For me, I am 99.99% sure I'll be attending the University of Michigan simply due to cost (in state) and the fact that i was wait listed at my top choice, but nevertheless, I am extremely happy to be able to attend.

@NonSonoFronz: haha, a lot of basilers do live in NY
@icoleslawderp: OHHHH. I was thinking it was the other way around.
I figured you already lived in NY (especially since a lot of basilers live in NY) and would transfer that far away. But that makes a lot more sense.
@NonSonoFronz: Because I live in Minnesota. UM Twin cities is a great school if you want to major in Education and become a teacher.
If you mean RIT, because it has a good hard of hearing program(I'm hard of hearing.)
For those of you guys already in college, is it really that much better than high school? I know a couple of close friends are also attending the same university I am, so I won't feel totally alienated, but is the freedom and life that spectacular?

I'm very happy, my top choice and I think I'll transfer out in two years to University of Minnesota of Twin Cities.
Why would you transfer all the way out there? o.o
I was actually REALLYYYY thinking about transferring schools last semester but I decided against it.
I hope all the AA doesn't bone you guys over and you get into the place you want!

you can probably find me around the flint campus jk
High school.
i wantto go to MIT
I applied to seven schools for transferring: Rutgers, NYU, Stony Brook, Cornell, Columbia, Northwestern, and Binghamton. I got rejected from Columbia and Cornell (probably because I'm white with only a 2170 SAT.... and because they're Ivies). I'm still waiting for Northwestern's decision because I want to go there. I have no idea why I applied to Rutgers and NYU now that I think about it. Anyway, I'm thinking about going back to Michigan (I'll see you there if I do!) because I do miss the Big 10 life. I'm really considering going to Stony Brook because I know like 100 people who go there -- including my high school best friend and this girl I'm probably going to date over the summer. Plus Stony Brook is dirt cheap -- only 20 grand. Stony Brook, Michigan, Northwestern...
I'm probably going to Stony Brook. As much as I loved Michigan, I need money for grad school too. I have to see how much money I have.
Okay.
Stony Brook.
Going to Stony Brook. Probably.
