Whats with Venezuela?
Hi basil people, as some of you may be aware of many people have protested since feb-12th yet the media I see everyday must be pretty different from what you see in your country so...
I want to know how much media attention this situation has in your country and I want to know how good/evil you think the venezuelan goverment is right now based on what you know.
tl;dr -> how effed up do you see venezuela right now?

I don't watch T.V, and I only make the effort to pay attention to science / technology news. I haven't heard about Venezuela peripherally; what's going on over there anyway?
It's pretty effed based on what I hear from my friend and mother who are both from there, and her family who are living there right now. It really needs to get fixed up because it's an awesome place but things are just way too out of hand.
