Am I a weeabo?
I reading manga, light novels and watching anime occasionally. I don't immerse myself in the Japanese culture by cosplaying or pretending to be Japanese.I just like reading manga and anime. My friend calls me a weeabo because I like anime and manga. Personally I don't consider myself a weeabo but I'm not too sure. Am I a weeabo?

if i use a profile picture thats like the default picture but with an accessory from an anime i like, but i dont pretend to come from japan (how can you even do such a thing?) and i dont think japan is the best thing ever, am i good?

Nah, otaku describes someone who is real into a certain hobby. Someone can be a train otaku for example.
Weeaboo is someone obsessed with Japanese culture and all things Japanese.
If you're just into reading manga and watching anime casually because you happen to enjoy it then you don't even need to label yourself as otaku. It's just like any other hobby.

Do you have any other hobbies that arent related to anime? If so then I wouldnt call you one just an average fan whose taken up the hobby.
