Does ignite heal opposite colored hat pierre?

I was wondering if f/p mages' ignite skill heals pierre. say you have a blue hat, would ignite heal red pierre or hurt him?

Dropping a skill because of lag is one thing, but dropping a skill just for the sole purpose of being able to solo one single boss is incredibly stupid.

@EMSfreeze Viral slime actually causes the opposite color hat to heal.

As for soloing pierre, I personally just spam paralyze because of mist eruption's AoE which can harm the other pierre. I personally removed my points off ignite since it lags me and because it doesn't benefit me that much.

I solo pierre on my FP mage every week. All you need to know is how far and where your AoE for paralyze is. Flame haze is a good skill to use too when they're both together so you only hit 1.

I have yet to upload any FP or I/L pierre solo videos but I guess I'll upload an ice lightning one later. Chain lightning also doesn't really impede on the run as long as you know how to control it.

If you're purely relying on flame haze and mist eruption on purple hat, you might need a dead mule on the side so you can land more hits during the split. If you cannot hit significant damage with paralyze, you need every DPS moment you can get so I'd drop ignite if I were you.
I wouldn't call it hard, but it can be rather irritating since you're at the mercy of good hat switches. If your range is high enough you can pretty much just rely on Poison Mist's DoT to do most of the work. That's usually what I ended up doing, at least.
oh i see. thanks for your help
hmm wouldn't that make a chaos pierre solo pretty hard for us? we can use mist eruption i guess but stacking all 5 DoT for max mist eruption (assuming you wouldn't cap with less than 5) will be harder since we won't use paralyze. have you ever succeeded in a chaos pierre solo? i've seen lots of your vids btw and they are really good

thanks for the response
DoT will still hurt him, though. Although it has to be a DoT that can be dealt without doing damage to him (if that makes sense), which leaves you with Poison Mist and/or Flame Gear.
