its no glitch, its that spear has higher weapon multiplier than 2-handed swords.

It is a glitch that Nexon will said they will fix in 2025.
Sometimes when i have a weapon that is 2x better then the one i got it will tell me lik e-25,000 range

that's all there is to it.
Dont quote me on this but maybe because spears have higher multiplier so it adds to your maximum range despite being lower attack.
Or maybe your maple is glitched like mine and have misleading range indicators on equips
Obviously the +MP. But on a serious note, I have no idea.
