Why is there so much difference between 8 and 10w.att wgs?

Like the 8w.att goes for 70m (i think) and 2k nx ~
and the 10w.att goes for 170m and 9k nx ~ O_O

its only 2w.att...why is there so much difference?
okay scrolling is a binomial distribution, wiht each scrolling independent of each other (so it is supposed to be at least )
landing 1 out of 5 60% scroll = 5 C 1 * 0.6^1 * 0.4^4 = 7.7%
landing 2 out of 5 60% scroll = 5 C 2 * 0.6^2 * 0.4^3 = 23%
landing 3 out of 5 60% scroll = 5 C 3 * 0.6^3 * 0.4^2 = 35%
landing 4 out of 5 60% scroll = 5 C 4 * 0.6^4 * 0.4^1 = 26%
landing 5 out of 5 60% scroll = 5 C 5 * 0.6^5 = 7.7%
yay stats

This is actually how you do it because you are calculating the probability of landing x/5 not landing x in a row.
12.96% is the probability of landing 4 60% with 1 slot left not landing 4 60% and missing 1.

Basically, gettin a 10 att wg is

0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 = 7.776% chance to land everything without help.
1 in a row = 60%
2 in a row = 36%
3 in a row = 21.6%
4 in a row = 12.96%
5 in a row = 7.776%
6 in a row = 4.6656%
7 in a row = 2.79936%
8 in a row = 1.679616%
9 in a row = 1.0077696%

so you have 1% chance to do a perfect green mittens hammered 2 times

EDIT: woop 1.68% i went too far
or u can go with bwgs which have 7 slots clean so 9 slots is right

so b4 u try to perfect scroll bwgs get a 1% slate scroll to work

1 sucess: 3/5 chance
2 sucess: 9/25
3 sucess: 27/125
4 sucesses: 81/ 625
5 sucesses: 243/3125 or ~.075% chance of sucess

8 atk is 43 and 10 atk is 175 but the reason why it is expensive is because as you no the more godlier an item is the more it increases like if its a 128 blood dagger lets just say a random price maybe 300 mil(this is only an example) a 129 would be way more since its harder to get the extra 1 attack. the chances of hitting 5/5 60% isnt that high about usually 3/5 hit. Most ppl also like the 2 digit number and it works with mts currency compared to an 8 atk. Another reason why unhammered is worth more than hammered is because unhammered means u cant hammer it meaning u cannot hammer it and scroll it more if u hit 2 60% it becomes 14 atk.
What is your problem? 7.776 or 7.8 % chance. 60 * (0.6^4) = 7.776.
Yup Yup
for each scroll you are indeed correct., hence we say they are IID (independent, identically distributed)
but getting consecutive scrolls to work we would need to consider conditional probability.
ie like the probability of hte 2nd scroll working given that the first work would be the probability that both scroll worked divided by the probability that the 1st scroll works.
Are you a math professor?
landing 1 out of 5 60% scrolls = 60%
landing 2 out of 5 60% scrolls = 60%
landing 3 out of 5 60% scrolls = 60%
landing 4 out of 5 60% scrolls = 60%
landing 5 out of 5 60% scrolls = 60%

its always 60%, when a 60% works the next scrollswill still be 60% (if u use a 60% of course), it doesnt decrease the PROBABILITY, like a EE scroll does :
So you mean when I scroll a glove, I get 3 gloves? Probabilities add up to 300%
wow...
you fail at math so badly...
its 0.77% chance for a 10 atk..
0.077 is 7.7%... Derp.

40m 8 attack wg man... If it was 70m poor people would suffer heavily.

Huge failures in this thread.
Using 60%s, you have a 7.776% chance to get 10 att.
However, you have a 25.92% chance to get an 8 att.
See the huge % difference?

6 ATT = 15m
8 ATT = 40m
10 ATT = 170m (More than 4 times)

Do you want to guess the price of 12 ATT u/h and 14 ATT u/h?

A lot more chance went into it.

Glove prices go up exponentially with each attack, and I think more people are able to afford higher priced things nowadays. So more people are demanding 10att work gloves, so the price goes up? Plus inflation could have something to do with it. Who knows, I might even be wrong altogether.
