Hayatos good at bossing?

I have about 25b in Khaini to spend, is a Hayato worth playing to boss on? Also I heard that one of their really powerful skills now has no cooldown, so it is spammable.

other classes can do better and with minimal hayatos to showcase such bossing abilities it's hard to say but they can hit pretty fast and people love the binding as you can tell, i'd give it a try

Never bossed on my Hayato but Hitokori strike is mega op now. You can practically perma bind a boss with just 1 Hayato. The damage probably isn't that great but perma bind is amazing.

Hayato's bossing skills are really bad compared to other classes, heck I boss better with a Mihile. Hayato kinda shines at bosses that attack/move a lot (pierre+von bon) since his skills have a lot of mobility and i-frames, but at bosses with DR, such as PB, Hilla, it's hell since you have to time the dr correctly or else your battoujustu stance will get reflected and kill you.

Hitokiri Strike is strong in that two Hayatos can permanently bind a boss using it once they hit 177 (when they get the -100% cooldown hyper). Hayato is cool and fun and I love it to death but it's painfully weak. Here's why:

Evasion/dodge mechanics aren't working as they should; instead of your flat 65% dodge chance giving the Willow Dodge overall damage buff, the GUARD dodge does, and it's impossible to get that at bosses. The same problem is true of Jinsoku's buff granting reduction to damage taken.

Shinsoku deals very low damage for a single-target attack of its speed, and all other skills deal relatively low damage as well at the moment. Their power level is on par with Battle Mages when Chaos came out. That's all I need to say on the matter.

Battoujutsu Stance and Counterattack are a) not well-designed for the job they're in, and b) 100% uncontrollable damage that just so happens to proc DR. Honestly, I feel that Counterattack should have just added another 10% flat dodge chance onto the total and made it so that dodging an attack in that manner would deal damage or empower the next X attacks. Then it would have both enough power for a 4th job skill and a reason to actually LEVEL IT UP.

The hyper skills are both unoriginal reskinned versions of other hypers (Valhalla and Thousand Sword). The former overwrites another buff in 4th job and vice-versa.

The final attack component of Sanrenzan's 4th job version doesn't work properly. It only procs on the 3rd cast if you're spamming it.

you should go and main other good bosser, like paladin, dark knight or night lord. You can pretty much solo gollux hard mode.
If hayato deal like 4m per line, that mean other classes will deal 8m+ per damage :o

No, in my opinion they are probably the worst to boss with out of the warrior branch currently (don't get me wrong, I love Hayatos).

At the moment their damage is very low compared to other classes and some of their skills are either glitched or not working as intended.
Willow dodge is a strong skill of theirs but in order for it to work you need to get "avoid/miss" stacks on it which usually never happens at bosses.
Battoujutsu Stance is also another strong skill of their but it causes "damage reflect" so your pretty much going to die if you have it toggled on.

Hitoriki Strike, the skill that pretty much has no cooldown is a powerful skill but there is a delay when you use it because of its finishing animation which is very detrimental to their dps if your gonna try and spam only that skill. Sanrenzan or Shinsoku would be the better choice (Shinsoku+Hyper is better than Sanrenzan).

NOTE: This is my view of them from when I was playing them (has been a while), so please excuse any ignorance if I'm wrong in some aspects.
