Similar situation with my friend's house. We found the ant nest and burnt it doooowwwwwwn.
Yea they won't be coming back soon.

oops typo i guess and i cant find where they are coming from they have like 473209174770321 different possible entrances -_- maybe i should just leave them and whenever i see one kill it o.o last year i left spaghetti out and i came back and found like 30 ants eating it. dam ants i wanted that spaghetti D;

lol last year they came during the summer as smaller ants now they are bigger dammit last year i just played with them by making them kill each other

First find the source of them. Where are they comming from?
then once you find the entrance pull out some windex (ammonia) and spray it until they stop comming for a while
After that go kill the other ants that already entered your house, sweep/spray/smoosh its ur choice
Then go back to their entrance and kill that few that came out with spray again. Then load the entrance with salt and spread salt everywhere. They WILL DIE!

If you want to exterminate them, use greased lightning (cleaning product) to kill them with. You'll kill them but not have that nasty raid smell

we found a crack yesterday where the ants might be comming in from, but instead of spraying the crack or putting the poison there, my dad decided to seal it up with elmers glue wtf -.-

Ants don't like lavender oil, if you have any, or feel like buying some, you can put some on your bed, or other places you don't want them to go... I have tested it, and it really does keep them away.

They are carpenter ants, a lot of houses get them when the weather turns humid. Don't leave food out and use bug spray
