Patch On Ulu City Goin On Now
This Thread Is For Those who r still curious on why are we having a 11 hour patch going on right now in MapleStory as your reading this.

Is not just to add in 8 cash shop items or to eliminate Olivia pq or anything like that. Olivia Queses and Halloween even is not done until
November 9th Next week from now.
MapleStory Is gonna be adding a new Singapore Extension Map called Ulu City on [url=http://www.basilmarket.com/show/screen/187393]11/3/2010[/url].

This Place is not for low levels so those excited to check out this new place after the patch am
advising you to stay away until ur high enough to take the dmg these monsters give.
Monsters while give like 3-5k exp per kill for those high lvs 120+ in need of training.
Skeles and Gallops wont be the only crowded maps anymore.. add Dukus To the list.

If we follow the same exp curve as KMS, then you will. I made a slinger on Culverin server and got to 78 in 2 days of 1x.

I read your posts. And the people who don't play usually stay in the chat section. It just irritates me when people try to make it seem like they have better things to do than playing a game and use that as an excuse for when they don't know something. Well I guess I got a little out of hand myself. Hopefully after Big Bang you'll be able to train faster and experience the things that higher leveled people get to do. Believe me if you devote the time to it, it really is fun, especially Pap.

Yet you spend time on a MapleStory forum, commenting on a thread about a server update. Don't come to Basilmarket and comment about the game and then act like you don't play it at all. @ above all you have to do is activate the portal. everything is already there.
if press up on the portal u will see that it says the portal is not activated till novemeber 3

@above , they wont patch , they will just open the portal to ulu city on the trucks map.

Actually, all the files for Ulu City are already in the game. They just need to "open" them like what they did for this Halloween event. Since they don't need to add new data in, there is a good chance that this server check will open it up. I'm not saying that it's for certain, but the chance is very high.
The portal to Ulu City says that it's opening on November 3rd however. And from what I've heard, the data files for Ulu are already in the game, all Nexon has to do is simply turn the portal "on." So it's possible, stranger things have happened. Like Ghost Ship PQ kinda being slipped into the last "maintenance."
@ryan1995: No way to know for sure though. Stuff like this normally requires a patch.

You did read that it says Maintenance right? Because it is Tuesday and they always do their weekly Server Maintenance on this day at 10 PM PST. Just saying. Plus Why would they patch today then have a patch in like a week?
