What do you expect for thief revamp

As most of you are aware, KMS has leaked info that there will be a revamp for ALL classes. And most of you are excited because we are actually involved the revamp patch now for whatever reasons you have.

What i would like to see

Thief speed cap increased to 160% - Archers got up to 160% potentially (equips) with Archery Mastery, i dont believe it should have surpassed 140. Archers are primarily stationary (save for Wild Hunters), leading me to believe they dont need to be surpassing a thief in movement speed. Im not up on a pedestal saying "Thieves are best, everyone else sucks, dont deserve to be fast". Ill take an increased speed cap from haste, an active skill, instead of it being passive.

Removal of Summoning Rock req. - I dont believe theres any class that uses summoning rocks anymore than thieves. And Dual Blades dont use them either. That leaves Shads and NL's using S. Rocks. I would be happy to not get some skill damage buffs in exchange for removal of summoning rocks.

Removal of 200 Stars for Shadow Star - Just no point to it. Its a direct copy of Soul Arrow.

What do you guys think would be a good revamp.
Lol imagining NL will a skill like Assasinate would be so cool It could be like a chain..... made of stars....... that you charge up... and throw out like a whip?
The pause during Assassinate between switching from Dark Sight to the skill usage is what I dislike. Same with CoH. Even the charging on Assassinate is such a hassle that you could do more damage just spamming TT. I rather have another skill than something like this.

Higher proc for Shadow Shifter, Quad Throw with a 300% damage and 30%PDR and no S.Rock SP. That is all

Ninja Ambush really needs to be tinkered with, and so does skills like Shadow Meso and Shadow Web.

In lieu of Shadow Meso, there could be a skill called Shadow Throw, a passive skill that allows you to throw shadow versions behind your regular throwing stars (thrown by your shadow partner), adding 25% damage on top of what Shadow Partner does. It should work at maybe a 40% chance and require lvl 10 Shadow Partner.

In lieu of Shadow Web, A skill that causes paralysis that cripples the monster's attacking ability, almost like the bodyslam move that Arans have where the monster's attack becomes ineffective.

Experienced Star should become a third job skill and still be maxed in 10 SP since it doesn't apply to 4th job. Or keep it at 4th and have it add a damage bonus to all of the applicable 4th job skills.

No S.Rock SP, with double the mana cost. TT to 3rd, Quad for 4th with a level 10 mastery or we get the level increase based on a quest line with a higher PDR than TT, and maybe a 300% damage (considering we're throwing an extra star). Smokescreen for the NLs?

Smoke bomb from Shads

An assassinate type of move, except with stars..don't know how that's going to work though
Those are really eh. Maybe if Smoke was moved down to 3rd, but it'd be much better if we got a party buff if we needed more party support ability. xD

Assassinate's nice on mini bosses, but it's just an iffy skill to me. But if copied, I'd imagine it as popping out of DS to throw 4 massive Stars at one target. xD

Here's some made up skills I thought of:

Penetrate: Throws stars at a increased speeds, allowing them to go through monsters
-Passive with horizontal damage, works with any skill involving throwing stars

Avenger moved to 2nd job

Detonate: Throws a star that will explode at a given distance
-New mobbing move for 4th job -> Up to 8~10 monsters
-A tad faster than avenger with more %damage

Triple Throw moved to 3rd

Quad throw seems a little trite..but I have yet to come up with something in lieu of triple throw.

Smoke bomb from Shads

An assassinate type of move, except with stars..don't know how that's going to work though

Removal of summoning rocks would be brilliant.
Anything else is gravy.
@Above: I think you're a bit out of date. I know the chart you are referring to, and I don't think it applied to the updates that were just made to the mage classes. I saw a chart earlier this week marking buccs last, NL's second to last, and Shads 3rd.
The list is all theoretical, anyway. Do you suppose Bishop's can suddenly move up the dps/dpm charts so quickly like a sizzling rocket launcher? Then, there are still Bishop's complaining about their damage, and that they are a semi-useful support class. I don't even have to explain the rest of the Mage class changes.

Let me give one example. This chart (post-Legend, including post-Jump) has what you indicated with the ranking of Buccaneer's, NL's, and Shadower's.

Now look at the rank of Evan, it is #2.

Now look at this analysis on SP (includes post-Jump Mages, post-Legend Evan, post-Chaos BaM).

It is a chart consisting of all Mage's that has Evan's ranking below F/P's. Now look back on the other dpm chart that tells you the rank of F/P's (which is #6).

You can conclude F/P's are ranked #2 (when comparing all Mage's) behind Evan's one dpm chart, but if you take a thorough analysis, you will see that F/P's are actually ranked #1 (in front of Evan's) with another chart.

The point is, don't believe in charts until you can actually examine one on your own.
@simmisahota : They do, but NL's are 2nd to last. I think Shads are 3rd.
Bishop's are last. Buccaneer's are after, which makes NL's 3rd last. Shadower's are about 5th-6th+ ranging from last to first, and Corsair's are about 7th-8th+ ranging from last to first.
Shadow star is not a copy of Soul Arrow. For Soul Arrow, any attack bonus from your specialized arrows is nullified. However, with Shadow Stars, you keep the bonus.
Besides that, the speed cap increase to 160% and removal of summon rocks for SP has been acknowledged a lot these days.
Or maybe they'll just go insane and just give us the ability to put TT on cruise control and just let us use Drain/Avenger/buff/other attacks without interrupting that stream of TTs?
The most OP thing since Pirates, Arans, DBs, and whatever else people thought were OP.

I expect to get a lot more than anyone really is expecting. xD

Watch them add a system where monsters hitting Misses will charge up a whacky buff system (every 10 Misses grants a random +5% Crit chance/+5% HP/+5% evasion or some crazy hoo-hah)?

Or maybe they'll just make us super mobile with a 1st job skill where tapping Up two times makes us leap up to the platform above and two taps in any direction makes us dash a certain distance, and watch that work mid-FJ?

Or maybe they'll just go insane and just give us the ability to put TT on cruise control and just let us use Drain/Avenger/buff/other attacks without interrupting that stream of TTs?

I am expecting something big, but even I think I'll get blown away by the changes. xD
