Neither- Nexus 4 or S3 is where it's at for the money.

@numanasap: Now you're just being ignorant. I've done side by side comparisons with my sister's 4S and can notice a difference. Don't see how they're feeding me lies when I'm able to see the difference with my own eyes. o-o
@numanasap: I only see a few similarities which would be the PPI, camera mega pixels and battery life. And even though the camera mega pixels is the same, they used a thinner glass on the lens allowing more light to come in making the picture better. And like if you looked at what I stated before, there's much more then just "an extra row and a thinner phone". The LTE and faster processor are a huge improvement over the 4S and is a huge bonus to the phone. And the like I said before, because the phone is thinner by using a thinner glass, like I said before, it causes a brighter picture. The gig of ram will be handy if you're planning to jailbreak. If not, 1 gig is overkill IMO but what ever. And the bigger screen is a lot better for watching videos.
dont waste ur money, apple is feeding u lies, either that or u just bought the iphone 5 and dont want to seem like u made a mistake by bragging about it!
trust me, its a huge waste of money...

Go with Nokia, they're durable.
Well, the iPhone 5 consists of a larger screen, better battery life, faster processor, more powerful graphics card, better camera, 4g LTE, and a more durable glass. The glass on the screen is also thinner, allowing the colors to be much brighter. The iPhone 5's a lot lighter as well. (not sure if you care about that). If you're planning on keeping your phone for the next few years, I'd go with the iPhone 5. If not, go with the 4s.
Lol the iphone 5 not very different from the iphone 4s Look http://www.itproportal.com/2012/09/12/iphone-5-vs-iphone-4s-specs-comparison/ its not like the iphone 4 vs 4s which was a HUGE difference, but personally i think the iphone 5 sux, go with the 4s Op! ur paying 100$ for an extra row and a thinner phone

The iphone 5 features an extra row for all the latest and greatest apps, something that cannot be found on any previous models! Yay!

I don't know. Why would the 4S be better besides cost?
