Mille Aiguilles or Tempest?

Which Phantom skill should I raise if I'm mostly mobbing in Evo Lab?
On one hand, Mille Aiguilles is more mobile, attacks faster, and can be used for a long time.
But Tempest attacks a much greater area, a few more mobs, and a little more damage, despite its cooldown.
Which one should I raise for idle mobbing like in Evo Lab?
Also, if someone could tell me whether Mille Aiguilles changes your speed, or if your speed remains the same, that'd be great.

When I used Tempest in Evo, it didn't actually kill the mobs. Which was annoying as it wasted leaf gathering time.

The only time I've seen Tempest be useful was in Zakum.

Max Mille first, but don't be affraid to have a point or two into Tempest and try it out. Like you said, it does have a larger AoE, so it might help kill the swarming monsters before they reach you. Play around with both either way.

I'll just leave this here for the people that said mille doesn't get faster. Not sure how valid this is but interesting nonetheless. On topic. Mille is much better for mobbing than tempest, you should only max tempest after everything else is maxed already.

^mille's start up time can be faster with green pot and SI but that's about it. Mille is the best for
mobbing at room 3 since it can mob idle most of the time. Also mille does not change your speed,
you should be maxed speed so your running speed will be mille movement speed.

Edit: If you are looking to farm, you should be using showdown

Have you already fully raised Priere D'Aria, Cane Mastery and maybe Maple Warrior? Do those first and then Mille
