for those taking chemistry this year

so, i was wondering, what are you chemistry students doing right now in class? currently, my class is studying atomic theory again, and now we are working on the more physics related portions of the atomic theory. how about you people?

Reaction rates and mechanisms. AP Chemistry.

Organic chem isn't needed for the AP test. Aside from naming the compounds e.g. ketones, amides, aldehydes, alkanes, etc.
For me, currently Moles

6.023x10^23
Converting from Moles<--->Grams<--->Molecules/Atoms

Pretty easy, yet I slept during class flying through this stuff easy
I'm pretty sure it's 6.022x10^23 for Avogadro's number..
OT: Something about percent composition or forming an element compound based on different percent compositions.

mole-particle-mass conversions are among the easiest topics. i got a 115 on that test

Starting nuclear chemistry like tomorrow. Today we had our test on solid, liquid, gas (all the gas laws).
stoichiometry. i don't understand at all
for stoichiometry, you simply need to find the ratio between the 2 substances, then multiply the given amount by that ratio. just be sure to use the correct units (use formula units/atoms/molecules when dealing with representative particles, moles when dealing with moles, and g/kg etc. when dealing with mass)

@introgreen: i agree. moles and conversions were probably one of the easiest things i had to deal with so far. i cant fall asleep though, not because my teacher doesnt let me, but rather i just love the class. managing a solid A is cake
