what headphones should i choose to get?

so, recently my sony in-ear headphones just broke, and im in search of some new headphones. the price range i am thinking of is around 25-50 dollars. i prefer over-ear or in-ear headphones. do you guys have any suggestions?

EDIT: sorry guys, i always call earphones in-ear headphones... sorry for any confusion. and by in-ear, i mean in-canal

I use a pair of Philips that I bought at target for around 10 bucks, and since I've played with them a lot (swung them around, hit people with them ) I'd say they don't really break. Mostly, in my house, I use DJ style headphones that came with a shirt I bought.

I believe TS didn't want headphones that hang over your head, pretty sure he's after ear buds which is why i recommenced Skull Candy Ink'd. The lasted me about a year which is decent since ive gone through about 3-5 earphones the year before.
im actually after either, more so earbuds for convenience. as of now, im choosing between ifrogz custom earbuds/headphones and ink'd
iFrogz are in ear, half the price of skullcandies, and in my opinion, are better.

Skullcandy are like Dr. Dre beats. You're paying for the name brand.
i kind of like the look of the ifrogz. do you have any recommendations for their in-ear headphones?
i dont need lots of bass. as long as the sound quality is good, im satisfied
