abnormal status duration

now that ive moved from empress to RA due to the huge boost it gives, i found out that without the -2 seconds of abnormal status duration from empress it gets a little tough to deal with gollux (at least for me) since he binds with each attack. is there any other way to solve this problem or should i just equip my empress set when golluxing and using ra for everything else?
