Those are just probably rude players, or mabye you are misunderstanding them. I know in our alliance we have friendly fights about the two classes so explain in what contxt it is

i <3 FP mages, my original character was an FP mage just for the fact i could run multiple CHs of good exp maps or even low exp maps and still level quick,
i also LOVED that glitch when NLC when poison fog would force boomer replication to extreme degrees

Yeah the mist... also known as the fart. As a i/l mage that's the only fire mage skill that I wish I had. Its just so damn annoying and good to ks

@Synistah: Bishops are NOT mages. It clearly stats Cleric>Priest>Bishop. I know you guys are a support class, but no one wants us for anything. We're neitehr attackers or support (supposedly). I seriously consider myself an attacker, but it's humiliating seeing people your level do twice your damage. I just don't like the fact that no one wants mages for anything, not even back in the day for PQs. That's why I've never liekd Clerics +. + There's a crapload of Bishops always KSing, esp. at gallos. I don't hate mages. >.>

IDK, I have never noticed the hate from ice lits to F/Ps, I have an FP and i like training them more because you have to be creative with your training instead of sanding in one spot and spamming a key.

We really don't like it when you use your stupid mist to cover whole towns or FMs.

The whole farting in a whole map is pretty annoying, but I don't hate on any F/P.

I'll take on any F/P head-on if they claim that a F/P is 'better' than an I/L, but I'll take anyone head on who thinks that there's a 'better' class in Maplestory. There's advantages and disadvantages to [i]every[/i] class, it's as simple as that. I just don't like when people sit there and try to claim a 'better' class exists.

i think they're kinda fun, tho their skill books are very, very hard to find, since no one really cares about them

ive solo zak in 45min-1hour (not sure but im pretty sure its around that), lyka in 2min, pap in 5min, and many more

i think im pretty dam satisfied with my fp O_o

The only thing missing for m fp is paralyze 30 = =", but im already doing 100-120k on bosses per paralyze <3, im hoping to do more

i say stay with what you like. FP is actually of a better bosser than I/L on 1v1, with the same fund, since well, theres really no argue about the matk that cl and paralyze gives...

i/l gives a much more easier training, since it can freeze.
f/p is cool in the sense that they can mist

but overall, mages can be a pain cuz of ks

unless you can 1hko every monster in ms up to ob4 monsters, i/l really is easier to train upon 4th job
but i have come to like my fp, cuz they are just....iono...raining meatballs ftw?

ILs are better than FPs. We are not nearly as immature -looks at poisonist abusion-, we are much more diverse in attacking/training methods, and tend to be more of a challenge to play. Wuts up.

But the lightning would accidentally separate the water into its components (hydrogen and oxygen), and hydrogen, being incredibly flammable when oxygen is around, would come into contact with the fire, explode (instantly killing the i/l mage), and turn back into water vapour, which would float away and out of sight because the hot air from the fire would rise up and push it away, heating it up at the same time so the job gets done more easily.

But on a serious note, it's just opinion... personally, i like i/l's better, but i don't see what's wrong with f/ps other than the fact that they train a lot faster (which might annoy an i/l).

Actually we level way faster from the very point that poison breath is maxed (Usually around lv40-50)

it's not "just xxx class" that's bad. Thinking that is rather batty. You said it yourself, hate the player, don't generalise to the entire class. There are PLENTY of perfectly lovely bishops out there.

OT: I've been hated on plenty of times, but the people who hated on me far outweigh the numbers of lovely, friendly people out there. Several of my best friends on maple are i/l mages xD
