Ultimate Bowman Wind Piercing
Dear Ultimate Bowmen:
Please go onto your Ultimate Bowman, equip something that is not a Bow or a Crossbow. Preferably Swords, Axes, Maces, Spears, or Polearms. Now, hit your Wind Piercing button.
Did Wind Piercing work?
If it did, is it possible for you to post a screenshot validating that it does in fact work with any weapon?
If it doesn't, is it possible for you to post a screenshot validating that "This skill will not work with that equipped weapon".
This is very important.

Did you try using two-handed weapons as well?
Regardless, I appreciate it and will have to look for something better to do.
Thanks a lot Nexon for making bowmen have too many weapon-specific skills that make it where it's impossible to do anything but "normal" builds.
Too bad lunar drops aren't dropping for non warrior classes . Let's say i've spent more than enough time trying to find one. 8 hours w/o one. Can't wait till this is fixed.

Win Piercing is a skill Marksmen have. It decimates most mobs in one hit.
Wind Piercing is the Ultimate Adventurer of the Bowman class. It takes a while to fire, but it launches a straight arrow through mobs and does like 500% damage or something.
Nexon Update: The "Wind Pierce" glitch has been fixed. Anybody who made a STR Ultimate Explorer Bowmen will not recieve any compensation; however, AP resets in the Cash Shop will be on sale for the next week. Buy more NX! Happy Mapling!
If you can wait until i get one of my cygnus to 120, i'll gladly make an ultimate bowman and test it.

Point taken. However it's also possible Nexon messed up the coding and it requires no arrows. We have nothing but speculation, doubts, and hopes to go off of.

Highly doubt it. I would think all Nexon had to do was check a box to make that happen...but then again Nexon has trouble checking boxes.

if you switch weapons, it cancels soul arrow buff, if it consumes arrows and is useable on a non bow/xbow weapon it would auto crash the game.

Very carefully.
Technically, Irena shoots the arrow. Does it even consume arrows? If that's the case would it force you to carry arrows or would there need to be weapon switching to cast Soul Arrow? There's so much to be explored and so little time.

That's what I'm working on now! It'd just be nice to have a good confirmation to help my grinding speed. Those last 9 levels from 111 to 120 always rub my jimmies the wrong way. On the bright side; After Chaos patch Wind Piercing is technically one of the better UA skills.
Well if you're going to make an Ultimate Bowman anyway, before you do skills or anything equip him/her with sword of spear and hope for the best.
This would be VERY interesting to know. I would make a UE Bowman for this ^_^ Someone please make a UE Bowman and tell us

There are no attacking animations during the attack; only the "breathing" animation.
Also, according to a UA WK friend--Soul Driver worked with any weapon he equipped. Including daggers.

I didn't forget; It's just something I'd rather not bring up. Classes like this were never for bossing/DPM, but seeing those random "lolihithigherthanu" numbers give you a sense of pride. You know what I mean?

That's right! Spears and Polearms have a higher multiplier than Bows and Crossbows, so in technicalities not counting Worse critical rate; I'd possibly hit higher damage.
