Is Magic Crash still a thing?

Bind? Everyone wants bind. Who doesn't? Trying to take on Hard Magnus is torture without it.
But what about Crash? Are there other bosses that are just ridiculously hard to take out without the use of Magic Crash?
Or has its glory been lost in the Scar/Targar/Zakum days back in like 2012?

@currsed lol i'm well aware, it's just that in parties people want binders. but i haven't seen anyone ask around for a crasher

@hangwithhung you don't need a magic crash or bind to be able to solo these things. Even w.o 2-2 it's do-able you just have depended so much on 1minute (total bind time in a hard magnus run i assume) to dish damage. I mean it's useful but not torturous.

I use Magic Crash pretty often.
For example, I use Smite Shield to bind Pink Bean for 20 seconds right before it's about to cast Damage Reflect. Right before the 20 seconds pass, I use Magic Crash to nullify it's Damage Reflect for extra time to kill.
And then there's the annoying defense buff that bosses like Chaos Horntail uses on its body parts.. I use Magic Crash for those, too.

AFAIK, yes. I'm not too updated on the recent classes though
@seodan if you bind a boss, can they still cast spells?
They can't. I usually use bind to buy myself some time to magic crash if their resist timer is still active

@seodan if you bind a boss, can they still cast spells? I've used bind on Hilla before and idk if it's because I take her out too quickly or something else is happening but she just doesn't seem to be able to cast DR until at least Bind is over.
