Questions about bossing

So I resently started maining my kaiser. Currently lv151, 115%boss, 78pdr, and 500k range. I'm planning to get to 155 so I can normal mag, but then I'm gonna stop and work on my gear and get more %boss, pdr, and range of course. But my question is, with my current range can I beat hard gollux, and normal mag? Also, I'm working on my character control and was curious. Is it really worth it to stop spamming gigas for that split second to cast wing beat? And at what range should I stop using transform? I'm currently hitting 3-5m per line(not transformed)on gigas depending on which boss I fight, but that's subject to change, I'm bout to get 2 25%boss nebs.

You can easily solo normal magnus and hard gollux with that range. However, like other people have said get to level 180 so you can hit accurately. I solo'ed normal magnus, hard hilla, and hard gollux with 175% boss, 91% pdr, 96% status resistance (use resist pots), and essentially the same range. The only thing left after all that is to work on your character control.

P.S Yes wingbeat is amazing you should have an attack rotation by now and if you don't then I suggest personalizing one before you do major bosses. Oh and I transform because that's the whole point of being a Kaiser and I find it a lot of fun. Technically, the higher your range become the less often you will transform and by the time you cap you won't need to transform at all. It's honestly just a personal choice and depends on what you enjoy and what type of fighting aesthetic you like.

As for the split second wing beat question.yes it is worth it even without a ryude's sword IF and only if the boss moves around. Magnus likes to jump around and rush around so if you time your wing beats with your temp blades, they're definitely worth it. as for bosses that stick to one spot like zakum, horntail, gollux etc. no from the videos i've seen, just spamming gigas with well timed tempest blades is the best method of dps. even with a ryude's sword.

Like I said earlier, you might want to look for damage per line rather than range, %boss, and %pdr needed to kill normal magnus. Also, you might want to ask how long it would take. Youtube is a great resource, check out some kaiser normal magnus videos there.
As for your damage per line right now:

If the boss you're hitting 5m max per line on is zakum, with 78% pdr you'd be doing 2,441,645 max per line to normal magnus.
How I found this(working backwards from zakum damage):
1) You're more than 5 levels above zakum, so you deal 1.2x more damage to him. 5m/1.2 = 4.17m per line(approximately, obviously not exact since youre not doing exactly 5,000,000)
2) Zakum has 40% pdr. You damage post pdr is calculated as such:
(1-[<Enemy %pdr>- (<Your decimal pdr> * <enemies %pdr&gt]/100) * Your damage on a 0% pdr boss = Your % damage on a boss with "x" pdr
Using this formula, we can calculated what your approximate damage would be on a 0% pdr boss(variable z) with 5m on zakum by plugging in

(1 - [40 - (.78*40)]/100) * z = 4,170,000
[1- (40-31.2)/100] * z = 4,170,000
[1- 8.8/100] * z = 4,170,000
(1-.088) * z = 4,170,000
.912 * z = 4,170,000
z = 4,572,368

3) Now that we have your 0% pdr damage, we can calculate your damage on normal magnus(variable y), a boss with 50% pdr, by using the same formula.

(1 - [50 - (.78*50)]/100) * 4,572,368 = y
(1 - .11) * 4,572,368 = y
y=4,069,408

4) Unfortunately, magnus has strong elemental resistance. To factor this into damage, you must multiply your damage by
(1+[MonsterEleResist x (1-YourIgnoreEleResist)])
As far as I know, kaisers don't have any ignore ele resist. When a monster has "strong" ele resst, we plug in -.5 for MonsterEleResist
(1+[-.5 x *(1-0)])
(1+(-.5)])
.5

So then we take .5 and multiply it by your damage.
4069407.52 * .5 = 2034703.76

5) As @ninjas0ul said, theres extra damage/damage lost from a level difference. IIRC: If you're within 5 levels of the boss, your damage stays normal. If you're more than 5 levels above the boss, your damage is multiplied by 1.2. If you're more than 5 levels below the boss, your damage is divided by 1.25.
Since normal magnus is 130, you're more than 5 levels above him, so we multiply your damage by 1.2.
2034703.76 * 1.2= 2,441,645

The only way that leveling more will help you on normal magnus, is the AP and the SP(and hypers) gained. Also, youll be able to wear SW equips(face + eye).
I highly suggest you level up to 200 for that extra 245 STR (*%str)

You can find the amount of damage that you'll deal to hard gollux the same way. As far his stats:
His level: 190 (**You should level up before you try him. You'll miss a lot, and will have a 1.25x less damage)
His elemental resist: Strong (-.5)
His pdr: ?- Can't seem to find anything besides easy mode, which apparently has 10% pdr

hell naw, level gap is too big for you to accurately hit most bosses, go train, you'll range will go up drastically too

Ok cool. Thanks for the info. That's basically all I was looking for

Same goes for magnus, but Like I said, 200 would be my first priority if you wanted to go bossing. You could have 2m2m range at 155 and it still wouldn't be efficient because of the level difference. But if you say you do 3-5m per line on some bosses like zakum with no pdr, you would be doing half that damage on magnus on top of the misses you will be dealing at 155.

Theres no formula that says x% boss + x%pdr + range = able to solo a boss. It also includes your control. Just get to a higher level and try to the bosses yourself, simple as that.

I'm no kaiser, but as for both bosses, you should be able to do them with decent control. Your %boss is kind of low, even after two boss nebs, so keep that in mind. You have 30 minutes for both bosses, and 5/20 lives, so they should easily be done as long as you dont die a lot.

What about normal mag? As far as the leveling goes. I won't be leveling this after I get to 155, not for a while at least. I've got 2 more link chars to finish, as well as getting my character cards to ss rank. That and the time spent on boss pre quests, as well as codex for more pdr.

You won't be able to do hard gollux because you'll be missing a lot. I would highly suggest you get to 180-190 or 200 as soon as possible so you don't have to worry about missing on bosses. And don't use transform as you DPS more untransformed. Wingbeat has a bit of a delay so what I do is, jump and gigas and then right when I land I cast wingbeat.

You didn't really answer anything. But thanks.

I think you need to actually reach a higher level. I'm pretty sure you can do almost every boss except like the top ~5. But you need levels for your hypers.
