Actually, in the known bugs list on the site, they removed the option of buying all types of "expansions" such as character expansions or inventory expansions because there was a glitch where you could keep using the 90% discount on it.

@gargantula2 there's a chance for it to be a glitch. But i see no reason for nexon to fix it in time before 90% discount finishes lol

@gargantula2 so lets say you have 100nx but you are trying to buy an item that normally cost 1000nx, so with 90% discount it costs 100nx, you cannot buy it because you do not have 1000nx. So i think the system they're using is that you buy at full price, and then refund 90% of it.
I remember they had this system last time they had discount, but not this one. I bought extra storage slots with just 900nx left. unless they "fixed" it during the unscheduled sc
