Shadower

Hows Shadower compared to Db?

Sorry for such a question, but I have my lvl 177 Dual Blade and considering switching to Shadower (Using Free Job Advancement)

So I would like to what is like to be a Shadower, and how different it is compared to Dual Blade.

It seems it has more survivability than Dual Blade and more thief like.

How's Shadower compared to DB? Thanks for advance

@KoelMen:

wrong, wrong and wrong. Most dual blades have something called -skill duration-. Changing gloves is not difficult, specially since DBs need SE anyway. You get a glove which has both SE and SI (SI on lines, se on neb is the easiest way to achieve such a glove). You don't have to do it, I did it.

You must use a green potion from monster park as well,

Uhm the 1 more speed, isnt that great. The time to use Si by switching takes more time and than 1 attack speed does lol.
Green potion make db get the max speed attack, and si bring it to +1. The 1+ is like 0.08sec, ofc with PB can be in 10min 8 more hitts. But isnt worth spending alot nx to get the Si. And switching your gear is horrible and it isnt worth it.
DBs have more dps if you care about that (I think)
I didn't really know how to play during my switch because what irked me was being unable to stop asura T___T
You could right click the asura buff on the top right corner to turn it off =o

I switched to shad and I got annoyed thus had to switch back to DB. I feel DB are much better in terms of mobility (even with the current single FJ) and bossing whereas shads definitely triumph in terms of mobbing and tankiness. It's based on your playstyle, shads are better if you don't mind just staying still and tanking damage but DBs are better if you like hopping around and stuff (using BS/TS to move horizontally) and in the future, DBs also get blade ascension which is a vertical movement attack that chains with the other DB combo skills... that's my 2 cents to give to this discussion; the choice is yours, shad for power and defense or DB for speed and mobility (plus FC sorta makes the whole power argument kinda balanced).
Plus I'm assuming since SW Dagger is Faster vs Fast, if you use that and then use a MPE potion, it would have around the same effect as Decent SI. This also includes any buffs like Dojo attack speed, Zero's speed buff, Yellow Aura from BaM. Couple that with the shorter delay with PB once our little update comes along, and we'll hit preeeety fast.
The revamp is speeding up PB?

When i get SI i feel no difference, does it actually affect them? I mean PB doesnt feel any faster.
Not that they are a slow class overall, it's just they are very slow compared to db in terms of stuff like attacking speed.

Pb & asura are speeds shads cant reach.. db's dont need speed infusion, they hit speed cap on their own. Noones arguing that shad's definitely hit harder though. In higher level areas they survive better, but db's survive better in lower levels because they don't get hit period, and if they do, they got drain.

Shadowers are the most defensive amount the thieves, one of the best defensive class I got to say. They hit higher numbers compared to the other thieves. And I hate how people say they are slow... U guys need to know how to play 1 properly....
