Getting Good Lines on cubes?
Hi, so I've looked around at some threads on cubing and did cubing the last 2 miracle times and it seems black cubes are the best for ranking up. However, why do people go for red cubes when getting good lines? Do they explicitly have a higher % of getting the same lines? And how about meister/master craftsmans? I notice on black cubes I normally get 1 or 2 good lines and my red cube on my shield got me 3 very good lines. From meister/master craftsmans cubes I normally get trash(e.g 30% chance to ignore 51 damage when attacked) I've never gotten lines like these with nx bought cubes?

ok... so meister is pretty bad.. low chance of ranking up, only to unique but still cubes ur equipent the same as everything, master and red are the same, black is justthat u could keep ur lines if uwant too... everyone has the same chance of ranking up and better potentials except the meister cuz it's free XD

There was actually a forum post where a Nexon employee stated it was higher chance to tier up with a black cube.
@arayuks False. Black cubes have a better chance to tier up compared to Red cubes, if it wasn't apparent from numerous miracle time cubing vids already.

OT: Use Red Cubes, unless all three lines of your potential are useful to you.
Ex. You're a Phant cubing a wep. (In this example, use Red Cubes since the 30% boss and 9% atk are the only things which are useful, Use Red cubes to aim for 3 useful lines)
30% boss
9% atk
9% int
(In the example below, use Black cubes because although this potential can get better, its still worth keeping if you don't get anything better)
40% boss
12% atk
9% Tot Damage

A GM did confirm that black cubes have a higher chance of tier up. From my experience, Red cubes are horrible for upgrading tier. In 200k NX, I got 7 items to legendary with Black Cubes during miracle time. In another miracle time, with 200k NX, I only managed to get 1 legendary item using Red Cubes

Doesn't the cube description say that Black Cubes have a higher rate to tier up?

Ah thanks, that finally explains why nx cubes have no bad lines. But I though a GM (Jelly Bird or something like that) confirmed black cubes have a higher tier rank up?

None, since I've only fought 3 elite bosses since I've been too busy playing Eunwol to farm them Its just that I got crappy lines from the cubes that dropped from some bosses for me during 2exp drop whereas red cubes I've never seen a really bad line...

Did they changed the drop rate for the cubes after Heroes Rising update?
I use to get a cube every 1/4 boss from RA

When was the last time a Meister Cube dropped for you? The drop rate for those things is abysmal.
From personal experience, Craftsman Cubes are a lot worse than any other Cube that is available at the moment, and Meister Cubes seem on par with Red Cubes.
They don't use meister cubes because they cost x2 more than if you were to buy red cubes. Plus you can buy them in bundles instead of one at a time.

Yes I know that, but why not use meister cubes instead? Now that they drop from elite bosses, you don't necessary need to have a meister level now. But what I want toknow is do nx bought cubes have a higher % of getting better lines than meso-crafted/boss dropped cubes? And thanks for replying~

Black Cubes should only be used when cubing for lines if you have something decent already.
