Honestly, how strong are i/l mages?
The last time i mained an i/l mage was when we were still lil badasses in PVP mode lol. But where do we stand now in dps/dpm compared to say Evans, Mihile, heros, Dual Blades, wind archers? Are we still on the weaker half of maplestory classes or are we actually stronger than most? elemental decrease prob. helps a lot in bossing, but how is the CL spam compared to reflection in lumis?

Honestly a fully capping + max speed Bishop solos Queen faster (3min15sec) than a maxed I/L (3min30sec-4min) since we have more lines, faster attack speed and higher damage cap. But I/L's probably need 2m range to do so while Bishops need 4m-5m range, so ya, depends on your definition of "fund heavily"
OT: I played all 3 adventure mages with 4m+ clean range and from my experience I/L is most boring one, I prefer the playstyle of F/P over I/L, and Bishop is the most interesting/relaxing one. Damage-wise I/L is okay, you need to frequently use frozen orb to boost your damage which is quite annoying but once you cap with CL w/o orb it becomes much easier. Reflection is much slower than CL, but I/L isn't fast either, Arch Mages aren't able to reach speed cap w/o assistance from runes/party skills. F/P still outdamages I/L with unlimited funding.

their around mid bar and one of the more safer classes to solo DR bosses just cause u can survive
They are pretty above average compared to a lot of other classes if that helps.
Well, most of the classes you listed are pretty weak. In terms of only the ones you listed, they are very top tier.
In general, they are just "okay".
