Should people be punished for profiting off exploiters?

Two members of my guild have been caught buying accounts with thousands of red cubes from a VERY well known exploiter in bera, there is literally no chance of the cubes being legitimate as the seller is a confirmed duper. The account has 3 thousand red cubes. They have been using the cubes on there own items, not reselling. This seems to be happening more and more often in bera and people such as my guild leader who will remain anonymous, don't care.

So I come to basil to ask. What is your opinion on this matter? Should these people be kicked from our guild?

Everyone has a right to do as they please, with consequences taken into consideration. Whether a guild expels an exploit exploiter or not depends on their own held values, but in general, you can expect the average guild to have zero tolerance for exploiters. As for what happens to the exploiters when Nexon takes initiative, that's just common sense, it's against their Terms of Service.

They bought accounts, of course they should be punished, and they're knowingly buying from dupers/exploiters, so they should also be punished for that.

There's a big difference in specifically seeking out dupers/exploiters to buy goods from, and then grabbing Clean Slates and other commonly duped things when you can. It's against the Terms of Service, and if Nexon cared they would ban your friends/guildies and guild leader for doing so, and any good guild would prohibit that kind of action on the part of their members.

But hey, apparently neither of those things are happening so your friend/guildiess are 'safe'.

It's against the ToS, hence it should be punishable related to the game that the ToS applied to. Simple as that.

That's a personal decision, it depends on your guild's stance on hacking/exploits.

Yes they should be punished, yes they should be kicked from the guild, yes the guild leader and people should care, but we don't live in a utopian society where these criteria are met. It's fairy easy for Nexon to query these accounts and see who has a buttload of cubes, slates, all stat nebs, etc and do some further investigation and take action but since they don't care the players don't seem to care either. It all starts from the top and Nexon's lackadaisical efforts trickle down to their customers.
