Shadower DPSing

So I made a shadower in reboot, but I'm not sure how this class is supposed to dps. Should I be using assassinate or midnight carnival, and should I use meso explosion in between? Also Is there a specific way you are supposed to coordinate assassinate + dark sight and body count?

Out of curiosity, isn't it better to go bstep-nate combo, talking of course before MC/ME are a factor? This builds up a 3 body count everytime before the final hit of nate goes off. Maybe I'm way off, but I always felt like this killed quicker than just straight nate. I haven't actually ran the comparisons though number wise, so please correct me if I'm way off.

@hoboboxess: In between the delay of each Bstep, you can sneak in a SB which has a short startup/cooldown for a little more DPS.

SB is only better than BStep once you can one hit the mobs. It is much more faster and mobile to spam while jumping/FJing around. Although, with the recent hitbox extension buff to Bstep, that may be up for discussion. I still prefer SB to Bstep when I'm just trying to clear out as many mobs as possible, though.

@lamato: why would you be using savage blow when you have bstep? and why would you macro assassinate with mobbing abilities?

also if you're using a pet to pick up mesos don't phase dash or your pet won't be able to pick them up after they've been moved. i personally don't ds with assassinate because of the delay unless i have to move or stop attacking

Macro Assassinate and Savage Blow together for mobbing. If you can one hit the mobs with Savage Blow, just opt for that. If the map is linear, just spam Phase Dash back and forth.

For Dark Sight, while it is usually better to just spam Assassinate by itself, you can opt to go into Dark Sight when you have 3 body counts active to that you can apply a huge amount of damage on your next strike. This is usually recommended while a boss is in a state where you cannot attack and must simply wait (boss entrance animation, boss transforming into stage 2/3, damage reflect, super defense up, etc).

Also, as a Shadower, you're going to want to stock up on Monster Park Green potions to help with your attack speed.

nate is your main attacker, bstab+phase dash are your mobbing moves, ME and MC arent useful until you hit higher damage ranges so stay away from those for now

i personally dont like to use DS+nate sometimes you get stuck in DS and its just bothersome
